“Swamp First” RINOs like Liz Cheney believed impeachment was their chance to excommunicate Donald Trump and his voters from the Republican Party.
But now all hell is breaking loose.
And that’s because Liz Cheney melted down when she was asked this one question about Donald Trump.
Liz Cheney thought supporting impeachment would open the floodgates for the Republicans to renounce Donald Trump and hand control of the GOP back to the RINO establishment.
Only nine other Republicans joined Cheney in supporting Nancy Pelosi’s second attempt to impeach Donald Trump.
Instead, Cheney was the one on the receiving end of the backlash.
Sixty-one Republicans voted to remove her from her position of House Republican Conference Chair.
The state Wyoming Republican Party voted to censure Cheney.
And a poll showed her primary challenger State Senator Anthony Bouchard leading her by 30 points.
Cheney appeared on “Fox News Sunday” to try and salvage her deteriorating political career.
It did not go well and instead amounted to throwing gasoline on a fire.
Cheney imploded under a question by friendly, left-wing host Chris Wallace by reciting Nancy Pelosi’s talking points and claiming Donald Trump had no future in the Republican Party.

Polls show over 80 percent of Republicans hold a favorable view of Donald Trump.
Liz Cheney is betting her political career that GOP voters want a return to the Bush/Romney/McCain years.
Cheney will find out if she is right when Wyoming Republicans render their verdict in next August’s Republican Primary.
