As the pandemic wore on, Dr. Fauci became more extreme in his mandates and orders.
Finally, someone rose up to challenge him.
Megyn Kelly dropped the hammer on Dr. Fauci with this devastating truth.
Pfizer submitted data to the Food and Drug Administration to receive approval for giving the COVID vaccine to children ages 5 to 11.
Dr. Fauci immediately came out in favor of mandating children as young as five receive the coronavirus vaccine as a condition of attending school.
“People think that having children be required to get vaccination is a very novel thing – it isn’t,” Dr. Fauci told MSNBC’s Hallie Jackson. “Right now if you want to go to many schools – most public schools – you’ve got to be vaccinated against measles, mumps, rubella, polio, hepatitis.
“So it’s nothing new,” Dr. Fauci added. “So when you hear would I be in favor of mandating? In fact, I would be – but that gets taken out of context, like I’m trying to impose some novel, new restriction on somebody, of taking away their rights.”
Fauci’s acolytes in the corporate media immediately piggybacked on this suggestion and went even further demanding vaccines be required for participation in sports leagues so to force parents that homeschool their children to take the vaccine.
“If regulators approve that 5–11-year-olds can be safely and effectively vaccinated against COVID, let’s not repeat the mistake of allowing space and time to anti-vax extremists. States should immediately make anti-COVID vaccination a requirement for school, sports leagues, etc.,” The Atlantic’s David Frum wrote.
Frum added that parents opposed to the vaccine mandates on the grounds they turn America into a medical caste system were correct and that it was a good thing to create an apartheid state based on vaccination status.
“The anti-vaxxers get a big thing right. They understand that a vaccine mandate is not merely a requirement. It also expresses a social stigma against the unvaccinated as ignorant and anti-social. That stigma is very powerful, which is why the anti-vaxxers resent it so intensely,” Frum continued.
This was enough for Megyn Kelly who slammed Frum, Fauci and all the other vaccine extremists by pointing out parents had legitimate reasons to feel concerned about forcing their children to take an experimental vaccine.
“You don’t have to be an ‘anti-vax extremist’ to have concerns re vaccinating a little one who has v little risk from Covid. You *do* have to be some kind of an asshole to demonize any parent concerned about forcing minor kids to take a vaccine that’s had no long-term testing,” Kelly posted on social media.
In supporting forced vaccination for children, Dr. Fauci falsely claimed that COVID kills more children than the flu ever has.
That is not true.
In four of the last eight flu seasons – which last 12 months – more children died from the flu than from COVID in the entire 18-month pandemic.
The fact remains that children remain at low risk of adverse outcomes from coronavirus and there is no data to suggest schools are significant vectors of viral spread.
