Twitter didn’t act when the Communist Chinese government praised itself for the ethnic genocide that they are carrying out against the Uyghur population, however they have thrown President Donald Trump off their platform.
The liberal American elite want to silence conservatives from having a space in the public square.
Former First Lady Michelle Obama demanded that Trump be banned from social media permanently because of the violent protest on the Capitol building.
Michelle Obama firstly suggested that the police response was weak because the protesters were white.
“What if these rioters had looked like the folks who go to Ebenezer Baptist Church every Sunday?” she said. “What would have been different?”
“Seeing the gulf between the responses to yesterday’s riot and this summer’s peaceful protests and the larger movement for racial justice is so painful,” she added. “It hurts. … in city after city, day after day, we saw cracked skulls and mass arrests, law enforcement pepper spraying its way through a peaceful demonstration for a presidential photo op.”
Michelle Obama isn’t self-aware enough to see the irony in defending violent protests that lasted for months while demanding that Trump be kicked off of social media because of the violent protest on the Capitol.
Also, the problem wasn’t that the police were too nice to the rioters. The problem is that D.C.’s mayor didn’t adequately prepare.
The police used necessary force and three people were killed in the riot.
That matches the sum total of all Black Lives Matter rioters killed by police in the hundreds of attacks on American cities this summer.
“Now is the time for Silicon Valley companies to stop enabling this monstrous behavior and go even further than they have already by permanently banning this man from their platforms,” Obama continued.
The message that Michelle Obama is sending out is that violence is okay as long as it’s left-wing political violence.
Trump has come forward and condemned the violence that happened in the strongest possible language.
“Like all Americans,” the President said in a video address, “I am outraged by the violence, lawlessness, and mayhem.”
“To those who engaged in the acts of violence and destruction, you do not represent our country. And to those who broke the law, you will pay.”
The Democrats who are blaming Trump for this are still defending the Black Lives Matter protests.
The hypocrisy of the left is stunning.
None of this excuses the violence but Michelle Obama doesn’t have the right to judge anyone while she’s defending violent protests.
The Democrats like to claim that they are the party of “healing,” so they need to start by condemning political violence on their own side.
