Mitt Romney is a Never Trump Republican.
He’s opposed Trump since the very beginning.
But Mitt Romney might have taken it too far with his latest comments against Trump.
Romney Casts Blame Against Trump Over Pipe Bomb Scare
Mitt Romney has always lavished praise from the liberal media.
He enjoyed it during his time as a liberal-leaning governor in Massachusetts.
In fact, liberals praise Romney as the architect of ObamaCare.
That’s because he signed a similar health care package into law as governor.
So now Romney’s grinning ear-to-ear.
And it’s not because he received good news regarding his bid for U.S. Senate.
It’s because of his latest attempt for attention from the liberal media.
Romney Stabs Trump and Conservatives in The Back
Mitt Romney is still upset he lost in 2012.
Obama’s victory crushed his dreams to become a president.
Now, Romney is once again taking out his failures on Trump.
No one knows who is behind the pipe bomb mailing to key Democrats.
But that didn’t stop Romney from claiming he knew the motive.
Romney tweeted, “Disgusting, vile threats and actions against fellow Americans and our institutions are sadly unsurprising: hate acts follow hate speech.”
“It is past time for us to turn down and tune out the rabid rhetoric,” he added.
Some may miss what Romney’s actually doing here.
First, he claims it was an American that sent these mailings.
No one knows if that’s true.
There’s no evidence tying the acts to an American.
Second, he claims these attacks were because of so-called “hate speech.”
The Democrats are the top source of hate speech in politics.
Every day leftists spew violent rhetoric against Republicans.
Romney should have directed his tweet directly at them.
But Romney remains quiet about Sen. Cory Booker and Rep. Maxine Waters.
Booker suggested Democrats “get up in the face” of Republicans.
And Waters demanded her supporters confront Trump voters and say, “you’re not welcomed here.”
Is Romney’s Statement Targeting Trump?
The liberal media is spiking the football over Romney’s comments.
They know Romney’s true motives.
After all, it was Mitt Romney who called Trump a “phony” and a “fraud” in 2016.
If Romney had his way, Hillary would have won.
In 2016, Romney slammed Trump saying, “He’s playing the American public for suckers: He gets a free ride to the White House and all we get is a lousy hat.”
Romney also declared Trump’s promises are “as worthless as a degree from Trump University.”
But unlike Romney, Trump actually is keeping his promises.
Taxes were slashed.
The economy is booming.
Illegal immigration is shrinking.
And Trump has delivered, not one, but two conservatives to the Supreme Court.
Trump Gets The Last Laugh
It’s clear, Mitt Romney is jealous of Trump.
It’s Mitt’s view that should be him in the Oval Office.
But Mitt, like any politician, will suppress his hate for Trump when it benefits him.
Romney dips his feet and pretends to be pro-Trump from time-to-time for his U.S. Senate race.
What do you think?
Is Mitt Romney right to blame Trump?
