Robert Mueller’s rigged witch hunt against President Trump is moving into the end game.
But now it’s Mueller who is under fire.
That’s because Trump’s lawyer went on TV and revealed this nasty surprise that should lead to Mueller landing behind bars.
President Trump and his supporters have long argued that the Mueller investigation is an illegitimate political hit job.
Mueller and his Democrat prosecutors are working on behalf of the swamp to remove Trump from office and undo the results of the 2016 election.
Mueller’s defenders in the media swear up and down that this isn’t the case.
But that position is no longer tenable.
Rudy Giuliani went on Sean Hannity’s Fox News program and dropped a bombshell.
Trump’s lawyer slammed Mueller as the real criminal and leveled charges of obstruction of justice against Mueller and his team.
“This would be a massive scandal if it happened to us, if we were producing documents to them. It was erased by Mueller’s record officer who claims he or she looked at them… How can that be?” Trump lawyer asked Hannity.
“Strzok and Page were texting every day about how much they hated Trump… All of a sudden they went to work for Mueller and they stop texting back and forth? There are some highly damaging texts about the way this investigation began. This is an investigation in search of a crime,” Giuliani concluded.
Giuliani was referring to a recent Department of Justice Inspector General report where the IG reported not being able to obtain all the text messages sent between anti-Trump FBI agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.
Strzok and Page were having an affair when Strzok was the FBI agent who signed off on the original counterintelligence investigation into Russian collusion back in July 2016.
Page was worried Trump would win the election and Strzok described the Russian probe as “an insurance policy” and that the FBI would “stop” Trump.
These bombshell text messages led investigators to wonder what else they communicated about regarding the Russia probe and if there was more evidence Strzok’s political bias against Trump infected the investigation.
Unfortunately, Mueller and his team helped stymie that search for the truth.
Page and Strzok initially worked for Mueller, but the special counsel was forced to cut them loose after their text messages surfaced.
However, Mueller was not about to reveal all their secrets.
His office wiped their phones clean of 19,000 text messages.
They claimed it was just restoring the phones to the factory settings before they were given over to other agents.
But given the FBI and DOJ’s hijinx in the Russian investigation, few Trump supporters took this claim seriously.
In fact, they echoed Giuliani’s statement that Mueller would not accept this explanation if a Trump ally gave it.
That’s why they believe a second special counsel should be appointed to investigate the investigators and get to the bottom of Robert Mueller’s obstruction of justice.
