Robert Mueller is out for blood.
He wants to take down President Trump, and everyone around him.
But that won’t be possible after his biggest anti-Trump loss ever.
Robert Mueller thought he made it big with the conviction of former Trump campaign Chairman Paul Manafort.
Manafort is convicted of numerous charges, including tax and bank fraud, with none of them having to do with Russia collusion.
But that doesn’t matter to Mueller, who is simply looking to lock someone close to Trump up for a long time.
The entire anti-Trump left was expecting Manafort to be that person, with the sentencing guidelines for his charges being from 19 to 24.5 years.
Being 69 years old, that makes it a near certainty he will die in prison.
But in a shocking move, Manafort will only spend four years in prison, something that the anti-Trump resistance is furious about.
Not only that, but the Judge makes it clear his charges have nothing to do with Russia collusion, saying, “He is not before the court for anything having to do with colluding with the Russian government.”
So the longest prison sentence in Mueller’s investigation has nothing to do with collusion and is much shorter than expected.
In response, Democrats are blasting the court for their perceived miscarriage of justice.
Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claims he is only serving four years due to him being “rich,” tweeting:
“Paul Manafort getting such little jail time for such serious crimes lays out for the world how it’s almost impossible for rich people to go to jail for the same amount of time as someone who is lower income.
In our current broken system, “justice” isn’t blind. It’s bought.”
Ocasio-Cortez could have changed Manafort’s name to Hillary Clinton, and it would be more accurate.
But the difference between the two is that Hillary never had to answer for her unsecure email server, despite criminal activity being clear.
The real difference here isn’t between rich and poor, it is against the deep state and the anti-establishment.
Serving in Trump’s campaign put Manafort in the sights of the deep state, who want nothing more than for him to face punishment.
His four-year jail term is that punishment, and it’s four years more than Hillary Clinton has to serve in prison.
Needless to say, the deep state is furious at this turn of events.
Manafort was his best chance to lock someone up for many years as revenge for the election of Donald Trump.
Now they are likely to focus their energy on long-time Trump adviser Roger Stone.
Stone is facing a number of charges that could amount to the rest of his life in prison.
A conviction is likely, especially with Stone facing the same Judge Manafort faced.
Already, the judge is imposing harsh restrictions on Stone, not allowing him to defend himself, or even criticize Robert Mueller.
They are even laying the groundwork to revoke Stone’s bail, not even allowing him to be free during the trial process.
Do you think Roger Stone should end up in jail?
