Robert Mueller is getting desperate.
He is zeroing in on anybody close to President Trump in order to do as much damage to his presidency as possible.
And he finally found one person he’s about to interview who could end Trump.
Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s goal is to prove that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia during the 2016 election.
Despite there being no proof of this, he is doing everything to try to find any connection whatsoever.
And for that reason, the anti-Trump resistance sees him as a hero.
If they can prove that Russia colluded during the 2016 election, they can claim that Trump’s entire presidency is a fluke and that Hillary Clinton should be president.
Throughout his entire investigation, nothing indicates that collusion occurred.
But he is insistent, willing to do anything to prove it.
His most recent attempt to prove collusion with Russia comes through WikiLeaks, which is the website that released Hillary Clinton’s stolen emails during the 2016 election.
There is a belief that those stolen emails were hacked by Russia.
Mueller was trying to connect long-time Trump associate Roger Stone to WikiLeaks, eventually just charging him with process crimes after finding nothing.
But now he’s moving on to target a former Director of Cambridge Analytica, a controversial consulting firm the Trump campaign worked with during the election.
Brittany Kaiser served as a director at the firm and met with WikiLeaks founder, Julian Assange, who is hiding out in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London.
While the meeting between the two was in 2017, after the election, there are still those who believe it could lead towards the connection Mueller is looking for.
Kaiser was subpoenaed and complied with Mueller’s team.
It is likely her subpoena will not lead to anything, but it could end up being damaging to Trump.
Because, while the reason for Mueller’s interest in Kaiser is her meeting with Assange, it may not be all he’s looking for.
Cambridge Analytica primarily serves as a data mining company, which analyzes data about potential voters to help campaigns better serve communications to them.
The company was relatively obscure until a scandal rocked their company last year, leading towards them shutting down in response.
Reports coming out about the company shined a light on their use of user’s private data on the popular social networking site Facebook.
Due to a vulnerability in Facebook, the company was able to obtain the personal data of millions of users without their individual consent.
Despite the issue being caused by Facebook, not the firm itself, the media viciously attacked them due to them working with the Trump campaign.
So this may be something Mueller is interested in gaining more information about.
Because while Mueller’s investigation is into Russia collusion, it isn’t all he is focusing on.
None of the charges Trump associates are facing as a part of Mueller’s investigation have anything to do with Trump, or his campaign.
So he may simply be looking for more reasons to go after figures close to Trump, or even the president himself.
Mueller is completely out of line, so there’s no telling what he will do.
