Robert Mueller’s anti-Trump witch hunt is in its final days.
Now is his time to push this thing into overdrive.
And he just indicted somebody you won’t believe.
Mueller Is Back In The Action
With the midterms ending, Mueller is jumping back into the action.
For months he has been following an unofficial DOJ policy keeping him out of the public eye.
That policy is to not take major actions on political investigations within 60 days of an election.
Mueller hasn’t made any major moves for some time.
He has been quietly interviewing a number of individuals of interest.
Most notable of those are Michael Cohen, Paul Manafort, Roger Stone, and Steve Bannon.
So there’s a lot Mueller may try to do in the next few days or weeks.
And with Attorney General Jeff Sessions stepping down, things will only speed up.
While Sessions recused himself from overseeing Mueller’s probe, his replacement likely won’t.
So Mueller has little time to take action before he could face scrutiny.
And he just moved forward in a big way after indicting somebody nobody expected.
Mueller Zeroes In On A Target
Jerome Corsi is an online personality largely known for spreading conspiracy theories.
He is a friend of Stone but has no real connection to the Trump campaign.
Corsi has never worked for Trump or his campaign.
And there’s no indication the two have ever met.
But Mueller is going after him due to his ties to Roger Stone.
Mueller’s team has interviewed him multiple times.
And according to NBC News, Mueller has indicted him.
Corsi says it is for perjury, something that Mueller is known to target people for.
Speaking to NBC, Corsi explains:
“When they have your emails and phone records … they’re very good at the perjury trap.”
What Corsi means is that during his testimony, Mueller was likely looking for some way to lock him up.
Mueller was likely loading questions in a way to force Corsi to lie.
Even if they are unrelated to the investigation in any way, they can be used to bait a subject into lying.
This is why former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn is facing charges.
After trying to tie him to a crime, they were forced to create a crime.
And now he is awaiting sentencing for lying to the FBI.
Mueller Is Finishing Things Up Quick
There isn’t much time left for Mueller’s investigation.
He is in his final days.
After months of preparation, all of his findings are likely to come out in the coming weeks.
He is finishing up his report now.
And the fact he has new people to indict makes that likely.
Mueller is desperately trying to prove he hasn’t been wasting his time over the past year and a half.
If he can’t prove Russia collusion happened, he will never be able to recover his reputation.
The left is confident he will take down Trump.
But there is little evidence of that happening.
Do you think Mueller will be able to take down Trump?
