Robert Mueller’s Russia probe has been going on for over a year.
He has not found any real evidence of collusion.
But that could all change after he releases the report he’s finishing up now.
Mueller is Jumping Back Into Action
With the midterms ending, Mueller is jumping back into the action.
For months he has been following an unofficial DOJ policy keeping him out of the public eye.
That policy is to not take major actions on political investigations within 60 days of an election.
Mueller hasn’t made any major moves for some time.
He has been quietly interviewing a number of individuals of interest.
Most notable of those are Michael Cohen, Paul Manafort, Roger Stone, and Steve Bannon.
So there’s a lot Mueller may try to do in the next few days or weeks.
And with Attorney General Jeff Sessions stepping down, things will only speed up.
While Sessions recused himself from overseeing Mueller’s probe, his replacement likely won’t.
So Mueller has little time to take action before he could face scrutiny.
That’s why it is believed he is about to drop his final report.
Mueller To Make His Final Play
According to CNN, Mueller is finishing up his final report on Russia collusion.
Information never known before is likely to come to light.
There’s no telling what that will be.
But the left is drumming up the war drums ready to use anything he drops to justify removing Trump.
Just this week leftists began taking to the streets.
Protests calling for Congress to Protect Mueller took place in most major cities.
But while the protests are supposedly to be in favor of Mueller, most of the talk was against Trump.
Without even seeing the report, the left is claiming Trump colluded with Russia.
They so desperately want that to be true.
If it is true, they can claim that Trump never really won the election, to begin with.
So they will take anything Mueller says at face value, as long as they can reach that conclusion.
That’s why having oversight over Mueller’s probe is something they are fighting.
They don’t want anything he has to say to be challenged.
Mueller Probe’s Shady Origins
Since day one Mueller’s investigation has been shady and corrupt.
It all started with the unverified Russia dossier.
That dossier was funded by Hillary Clinton and the DNC.
And the wife of Bruce Ohr, the first DOJ official to review it, works for the company they hired.
That dossier is the evidence used to obtain a FISA surveillance warrant against Trump campaign advisor Carter Page.
Then, that warrant application was used as justification for Rod Rosenstein to form Mueller’s special counsel.
This turn of events is something that most on the left have no idea about.
They think there is real evidence of Russia collusion.
But in reality, it is an anti-Trump hit job.
Oversight will prove that very easily.
That’s why they are fighting desperately to keep Mueller entirely independent.
