Robert Mueller has jailed two Trump allies.
The only reason they were targeted is being close to Trump.
And Mueller just made his final move to throw another Trump ally behind bars.
Mueller’s Anti-Trump Wins
While Robert Mueller can’t claim to harm Trump directly, he keeps going after those close to him.
Most recent to be jailed are Michael Cohen and Paul Manafort.
But he isn’t stopping there.
He just sent a request to a federal judge to sentence Michael Flynn.
Flynn, a retired Lieutenant General and Trump’s former National Security Adviser, has been a target of the deep state since day one.
He is a true ally to President Trump, and still isn’t abandoning him.
So close to a year after pleading guilty to lying to the FBI, Mueller is still going after him.
The lie relates to his communication with a Russian ambassador.
He didn’t do anything illegal in those communications.
So their best bet to get him comes from tricking him into lying to the FBI.
And they have what they wanted, considering that Flynn is no longer in the White House.
But that isn’t enough for Mueller.
Mueller’s Timing
Everything Mueller does is strategic.
Jailing Manafort, Cohen, and Flynn isn’t about justice.
They would have never been a target if it weren’t for their Trump affiliation.
And that is important in the mind of Mueller looking forward.
The reason Mueller wants to take them down is that it makes it seem like he’s doing something.
He can’t keep the support of the anti-Trump resistance without having a few heads to hang on the wall.
They are ceremonial victories that he can show off to garner favor from the anti-Trump movement and the deep state.
And he is far from done.
More people close to Trump are likely to face the same fate.
Former Trump confidant Roger Stone has been predicting that Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr. will be next.
His belief is that they will do the same thing to Trump Jr. as they have done to Flynn.
By that, he means they will indict him for lying to the FBI.
Considering that he’s talked to the FBI about his Trump Tower meeting with a Russian lawyer, it may happen.
But it will all be a façade designed to link the president to wrongdoing.
Mueller Has Nothing
In the end, Mueller has nothing.
His investigation’s beginnings are a sham, and it still is a sham.
By design, it is an anti-Trump witch hunt.
Its early days, back to the dossier that started it all, have Hillary Clinton’s fingerprints all over it.
Along with the DNC, she funded that dossier.
The dossier, meant as opposition research for Hillary, was passed on to the Justice Department.
And the Justice Department official first to review it has a wife working at the firm Hillary Clinton was paying.
It is as shady as it can get.
And considering that Mueller has no evidence on Trump proves that.
He was hoping to find evidence after the investigation began, and when he couldn’t he started looking for unrelated crimes.
It’s all about hurting Trump, not finding the truth.
