Nancy Pelosi is abusing her power.
She is attempting to manipulate all of Washington for her own gain.
And Nancy Pelosi will be run out of Washington after this final mistake.
Nancy Pelosi thinks she is the ultimate power in Washington. Together with Adam Schiff and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, she has conspired against the President and used lies to impeach him.
But now that he is impeached, Pelosi is making the ultimate power grab by holding onto the two articles of impeachment, rather than sending them to the Senate.
Pelosi knows that sending the impeachment articles to the Republican-controlled Senate means losing all she and the corrupted left have worked towards. The Senate is sure to vote to acquit Trump from any crimes the left may have doctored up, and will turn their eyes to the lies of Pelosi, Schumer, and Adam Schiff.
And now, the Speaker of the House’s days in Washington are numbered after this final mistake.
Pelosi has come out to state that she will continue to hold onto the articles of impeachment until Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell releases an outline for a Senate trial.
This is a clear abuse of power on Pelosi’s part. She is manipulating the system by demanding McConnell release a plan for trial. If she and the left get a hold of that plan, they can only further scheme and plot against the President.
Meanwhile, the looming trial and the impeachment of President Trump is causing turmoil and damage to this country, a country that was already divided between parties.
Pelosi claims that she is withholding the documents because McConnell’s loyalty lies with the President and not the country, but this only further proves that Pelosi’s loyalty lies only with herself and her party.
Fox News reports:
In a letter to colleagues, Pelosi, D-Calif., indicated she would not transmit impeachment articles to the Senate until McConnell moves to “immediately publish” the resolution while accusing him of making “misleading claims” about past impeachment processes to “justify” Republican plans.
“Sadly, Leader McConnell has made clear that his loyalty is to the President and not the Constitution,” Pelosi wrote. “Leader McConnell has insisted that the approach under consideration is identical to those of the Clinton trial and that ‘fair is fair.’ This is simply not true.”
This argument also comes at a time when the Republicans are gathering witnesses, something that the right had been pushing for; but now that they are, the left is calling them out for being unfair and manipulative. Chuck Schumer also spoke out against McConnell.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer last week defended his party’s efforts to seek high-level witnesses and documents amid new reports of what occurred inside the administration at the time of the decision to freeze millions of dollars of military aid to Ukraine. Schumer said it is imperative to learn the “whole truth,” while voicing concern McConnell could end up holding a “mock trial.”
“Never, never in the history of our country has there been an impeachment trial in which the Senate was denied the ability to hear from witnesses, yet the Republican leader seems intent on violating that precedent and denying critical evidence to this body and to the American people,” Schumer said, adding that McConnell has “no intention to be impartial.”
McConnell and Senate Republicans will continue to fight the corrupted left and for the American people.
