There is a huge impeachment crisis coming that is about to explode in the Democrats’ faces.
Nancy Pelosi has a problem coming in the Senate she can’t escape from.
And these two words sent Nancy Pelosi into a fit of rage that left Democrats in despair.
Nancy Pelosi should have learned something from the story of the boy who cried wolf.
The Democrats already lost credibility when the Mueller report flopped in a spectacular way.
They promised that they would find proof of a big crime that Trump committed.
But it came out in the end that the Democrats had just been lying their heads off.
The only thing that Mueller could accuse Trump of was not liking the Mueller investigation.
Of course, Trump didn’t like the Mueller investigation.
He doesn’t like the impeachment investigation either and the Democrats are trying to claim that he is obstructing justice yet again.
Trump hasn’t obstructed justice in impeachment. Every court order witness has shown up to testify.
Have all the voluntary witnesses that the Democrats asked to come showed up?
But they had no legal obligation to do so.
It’s as silly as Nancy Pelosi trying to impeach Trump because he chose not to show up for her afternoon tea.
This impeachment is falling flat on its face and Nancy Pelosi knows it.
And when it gets to the Senate, it will be even worse for Nancy Pelosi because then it will be under Mitch McConnell’s control.
And he’s calling out the Democrats’ witch hunt impeachment effort from the Senate floor.
According to the Daily Caller:
Republican Kentucky Sen. Mitch McConnell attacked House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats’ impeachment push Thursday, referring to the inquiry as “political theater. He also added that the legislative backup allowed the Senate to confirm “more of President [Donald] Trump’s impressive nominees for the federal courts.”
“Working Americans and their families are not well served by Democrats’ political performance art,” the Kentucky Republican said on the Senate floor. “What they really need are results. The only path to results is bipartisan legislation. And, fortunately, it’s a well-trodden one. There are 58 consecutive annual defense authorizations to prove it.”
“While we wait for our Democrat colleagues to let this legislation move forward,” he continued, “the Senate used the time to confirm more of President Trump’s impressive nominees for the federal courts.”
McConnell also said that “there is a bipartisan, bicameral agreement that the Speaker and Democratic leaders signed just a few months ago to help them find their way back to the table, but the agreement needs to be honored.”
It’s bad for Nancy Pelosi when the truth gets spoken plainly.
Her ruse to use impeachment as a tool for political theater only works if the public thinks that she is acting in good faith.
Do you think Nancy Pelosi’s pretend games are going to backfire on her in a major way?
