She wanted to convince everyone she was right.
She pulled out all the stops for this one speech.
However, Nancy Pelosi said two words that will cost the Democrats everything.
The election is closing in and Pelosi – along with the Democrats – are getting anxious.
And Pelosi’s latest interview went straight for the President’s throat.
In a news clip originally posted by MSNBC, Pelosi almost directly accuses Trump and the Republicans of treason.
And this was no mistake either.
Pelosi was so proud of this clip, she posted a version to her Twitter account.
In the clip, Pelosi specifically refers to Trump and the Republicans as “domestic enemies…enemies of the state.”
The full quote is as follows:
“They are trying to interfere with our election, but they’re not the only ones. We take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic. And sadly, the domestic enemies to our voting system and our honor and our Constitution are right at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue with their allies in the Congress of the United States. But again, let’s just get out there and mobilize and organize and not let the President deter anybody from voting. And again, support the postal system which is election central. They are doing everything they can to suppress the vote with their actions: scare people, intimidate, say law enforcement will be there, diminish the postal system and all of this. It’s actually really shameful. Enemies of the state.”
In the clip, the news anchor can be heard saying “wow” as Pelosi unloads this entire barrage.
Honestly, that is an appropriate response of disbelief after hearing the grenade she launched.
Pelosi has thrown reason out the window and replaced it with verbal assault to get her point across.
Allahpundit, a writer for the blog HotAir, summed up the video, stating:
“And now here’s Pelosi, the definition of the Democratic establishment, the so-called adult in the room, tossing a rhetorical Molotov cocktail.”
And the rest of the world agrees.
This is a new kind of attack.
And it reveals a side of Pelosi that has been there all along.
And now it’s out in the open.
As the video shows, her latest speeches are less about politics and more focused on her barely disguised hatred for Trump.
It began with her remarks about Trump being “morbidly obese,” then escalated when she attempted to blame the Republicans for the murder of George Floyd.
And now she is flat out accusing Trump and the congressional Republicans of treason.
However, she has no evidence to back up these claims.
She’s hoping that by being as controversial and combative as possible, people will flock to support the Democrats.
It doesn’t matter what she says, as long as it’s shocking and provocative and violently anti-Trump, she can try and convince people it is the truth.
We’ve seen Pelosi suggest some crazy things before, but now she has gone off the deep end.
If this is the state of America, we have a lot of thinking to do as the election draws closer.
