Nancy Pelosi is in the biggest fight of her life.
There’s nothing she cares about more than taking down Donald Trump.
And a new poll just proved the one thing Nancy Pelosi fears above all.
Many Democrat voters are sick of Nancy Pelosi.
Despite her being the de facto leader of the party, the fact that she can’t get anything done is infuriating to many in her party.
So, many in the party are looking to other Democrats for leadership.
For some, that person is somebody like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who takes the far-left position every single time, refusing to compromise on anything ever.
But as it turns out, there are a few figures running for President that are taking surprising interest from disillusioned Democrats.
In the second round of debates, the candidate who clearly separated himself from the pack among average Democrat voters is Andrew Yang.
Yang is a tech entrepreneur who is pushing one major issue in his campaign.
The big idea that Yang has is a universal basic income, which will give every American over the age of 18 $1,000 a month, no questions asked.
Yang claims the system can pay for itself through a value-added tax.
And while many are skeptical, it can’t be denied that he has a lot of support.
According to a Drudge Report instant straw poll, Yang won the second night of Democrat debates with a commanding 29 percent lead.
This is significant for a lot of reasons.
It shows that people are beginning to focus more on non-establishment voices in the party, which is bad news for Nancy Pelosi.
And it also shows that focusing on sensationalism is not a good strategy.
Because while Yang has a lot of crazy ideas, he is at least throwing out ideas, instead of screaming about “impeaching Trump” all day long.
And it isn’t just Yang seeing a boost for his less conventional views.
In the first night of debates, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard brought in an even more commanding 35 percent of the vote in the Drudge Report poll.
While Yang’s big message is “Universal Basic Income,” Gabbard has made a name for herself as the anti-war candidate.
Gabbard, who is a military veteran herself, separates herself from the rest of the field by attacking both the Republicans and Democrats over the war-mongering that comes from the establishment of both parties.
Both Gabbard and Yang have made their cases for their candidacy all over the place, including on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News show.
And on their appearances, both candidates received praise from Carlson, who doesn’t agree with much of what they believe, but agrees with many of their points.
For Yang, he correctly points out that a big reason for Trump’s presidency is job loss through automation.
Trump has different policy positions to handle the problem than Yang, but unlike the rest of the Democrats on the field, Yang is able to identify the problem.
And for Gabbard, she supports many of the same positions when it comes to military intervention overseas.
It is even claimed that Carlson’s opposition to war with Iran is the reason Trump called off the impending attack on Iran in recent days.
But somebody who is against all of these ideas is Nancy Pelosi and considering these candidates are gaining support, she is in a tough spot.
Who do you think will be the Democrat nominee?
