The crimes of the Obama administration are steadily being exposed.
Trump is now working to hold them responsible.
And one Obama key ally just got the news that could put him behind bars.
For the eight-year reign of Barack Obama, the justice system in America became a joke.
Friends of the establishment elites could get away with anything, while those who challenge them became targets of the weaponized Justice Department.
The most infamous example is investigations into so-called Russia collusion from Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.
With corrupt FBI agents like Peter Strzok calling the shots and James Comey leading the FBI, Trump administration officials were under surveillance.
And their work was latched onto by former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to form Robert Mueller’s investigation.
As is clear now, the entire investigation was a hoax from start to finish.
President Trump never colluded with Russian officials and won his election fair and square.
But while Mueller hasn’t uncovered anything to take down Trump, it turns out that a former member of Obama’s administration isn’t as lucky.
Former White House counsel under Obama, Gregory B. Craig, is expecting to face an indictment over evidence found in Mueller’s investigation.
The charges relate to foreign lobbying work on behalf of the Ukrainian government done by Craig, in conjunction with former Trump official Paul Manafort.
Until 2018, Craig was a partner at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, an international law headquartered in New York.
The indictment is said to be over the firm’s partners allegedly failing to register as a foreign lobbyist.
Craig’s lawyers call the impending indictment “a misguided abuse of prosecutorial discretion,” and the firm he was working for denies the allegations.
“Mr. Craig is not guilty of any charge,” the firm said in a statement.
This indictment will be the first time a Democrat is in the crosshairs of Mueller.
Since the start of the investigation, it has been targeting those who support President Trump.
And it is interesting that the indictment against Craig is only coming after the end of the investigation.
That could be due to Mueller’s report being days away from release to Congress.
If the report includes information alleging crimes against a Democrat that resulted in no action, it will only exacerbate claims of the investigation having political motivations.
But the damage is already done.
For two years, the media has been using the indictments against Republicans as proof that Mueller’s investigation is legitimate.
Despite none of the indictments having anything to do with collusion, the media would push around the clock coverage of them without acknowledging that fact.
If Craig’s indictment were to come in that time, it would only harm the media’s narrative on the Mueller investigation.
But it is better late than never for justice to finally start to catch up with those on the left.
And in the coming weeks, things are only going to get worse for them.
Devin Nunes is revealing eight criminal referrals of Obama administration officials in the coming days.
Do you think the Justice Department should investigate the wrongdoings of the deep state?
