The situation at the southern border is spiraling out of control.
Illegal aliens are crossing the southern border in numbers not seen in a decade.
And now this insider blew the whistle on Joe Biden’s scary plan to make the border crisis worse.
In the month of January, the border patrol made 78,000 apprehensions at the southern border, which was the biggest number for January in a decade.
Illegal border crossings began to rise in the fall as migrants believed Joe Biden would win the election and throw open the border.
Democrats then threw gasoline on the fire as Senator Robert Menendez and Congresswoman Linda Sanchez introduced Biden’s blanket amnesty bill for at least 11 million illegal aliens.
Texas Congressman Chip Roy warned Americans in an appearance on Breitbart’s Sirius XM Daily radio show that this bill is the continuation of Biden’s efforts to weaken border controls and facilitate illegal immigration.
“The Biden administration just jumped right in and refused to actually have a secure border, which tells you everything you need to know about [the] legislation they’re putting forward,” Roy told host Alex Marlow.
Roy explained that this legislation was just a front so Biden could tell his left flank he tried as he prepared the ground for executive orders that will grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens and gut border enforcement.
“Biden knows full well that this stuff will be bad policy. I think he wanted to put it out there to appease [the radical left], let it sit, Pelosi can pass it, let it die in the Senate, because I don’t think Joe Manchin or any others will let this go by 50 votes. … At the end of the day, [Biden] knows he can do the most to what he wants to do through executive orders,” Roy added.
But Democrats are sending up smoke signals to warn Biden off this politically disastrous course of action.
Texas Congressman Vicente Gonzalez expressed his dismay that Biden created new magnets for illegal immigration that would be “catastrophic” due to the pandemic.
“The way we’re doing it right now is catastrophic and is a recipe for disaster in the middle of a pandemic,” Congressman Gonzalez told POLITICO.
Gonzalez also warned Biden that opening the border and creating a new surge of illegal aliens crashing the southern border would prove politically toxic and hand Republicans control of both houses of Congress.
There is precedent to back up this panic among Democrats.
In 2014 the Obama administration’s lax border policies generated a wave of illegal alien children crossing the border which resulted in chaos and images of kids locked up in cages.
The Republicans romped to a historic victory netting a gain of nine seats in the Senate and taking control of the chamber.
Biden did not learn from the history he lived.
And now some Democrats are worried Biden is doomed to repeat it.
“Our party should be concerned. If we go off the rails, it’s going to be bad for us,” Gonzalez said. “Biden is going to be dealing with a minority in Congress if he continues down some of these paths.”
