Donald Trump and Rand Paul have become close.
The two once butted heads, but now work together well.
And Rand Paul just proved why by giving Trump an idea that will destroy the mainstream media.
Rand Paul Angry At The New York Times
Like every other Trump supporter, Rand Paul is furious at the New York Times.
After having an anonymous Trump official speak out against the president in their paper, it made it clear nobody can be trusted.
It is clear proof of a deep state implanted in our own government.
These are people who are not loyal to President Trump and are working every day to take him down.
Posting an article in the New York Times is just the boldest thing they have done.
But instead of just staying angry, Rand Paul has proposed a solution.
He told Trump he should require officials in his administration with security clearances to take a lie detector test.
The test will prove whether they are loyal to Trump, or some form of deep state influence.
And it would put a stop to officials talking to news outlets like the New York Times to try to discredit Trump.
It is those people which are likely the source of many stories coming out of the White House.
With them exposed the mainstream media will have a much harder time attacking the president.
What Rand Paul’s Plan Would Do
In the immediate aftermath of a lie detector plan, it will be bad news for the New York Times.
First of all, they claim the source is a senior Trump official.
Having the identity of that official will do one of two things with that claim.
It will either discredit the New York Times if the official is not a senior official.
Or it will prove just how deep the deep state is.
One of the claims made in Omarosa Manigault’s recent anti-Trump book has to do with officials working to stop Trump.
She claims that many officials in the administration are working to take Trump down.
And she goes so far as to say people in his own family are involved as well.
Although Omarosa isn’t a trustworthy person, the timing of her claim lends it credence.
Leakers Aren’t A New Thing
Having people within the administration opposed to Trump isn’t a new thing.
Trump has spent much of his presidency getting rid of deep state leakers.
But none of them have been at a senior level position.
This has the capability of being a day-one official who finally gained the courage to speak out.
For that reason, identifying them is a necessary step.
Rand Paul’s plan would do just that.
And it will send a message to anybody else thinking about doing the same thing.
It could be just what Trump needs to crush the mainstream media as well.
Do you think President Trump should implement Rand Paul’s idea?
