The Durham report contained damning revelations about the Clinton campaign, the FBI and the Democrat Party’s role in the Russia collusion hoax.
Durham found that Hillary Clinton personally approved a scheme to smear Donald Trump as an agent of the Russian government to distract from the criminal investigation into Clinton mishandling classified information on her private email server.
The report detailed how even though the FBI knew Clinton’s team cooked up the Russia collusion storyline, the Bureau proceeded forward with an investigation that lacked any evidence to substantiate its premise.
Durham’s report vindicated Donald Trump’s assertions that the FBI relied on a conspiracy theory hatched by his political enemies to stage a coup to undermine his presidency.
Adam Schiff was the public face of the Russian collusion hoax.
For years Schiff strode across political talk shows like a Mastodon spewing falsehood after falsehood about being in possession of evidence proving that Donald Trump conspired with Vladimir Putin to steal the presidency from Hillary Clinton.
“I don’t want to go into specifics, but I will say that there is evidence that is not circumstantial. But as I’ve said all along, there’s plenty of evidence of collusion,” Schiff declared during a 2017 interview on NBC’s “Meet The Press.”
“I can certainly say with confidence that there is significant evidence of collusion between the campaign and Russia,” Schiff exclaimed in March 2018.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy began the new Congress by successfully holding a vote to kick Schiff off the House Intelligence Committee.
McCarthy cited Schiff exploiting his position as House Intelligence Committee chairman to gaslight the American people about Trump, Russia, and the 2016 election.
Following the release of the Durham report Florida Republican Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna introduced a resolution to expel Schiff from Congress.
“Resolved, That, pursuant to Article I, Section 5, Clause 2 of the Constitution of the United States, Representative Adam Schiff, be, and he hereby is, expelled from the House of Representatives,” the resolution read.
In a series of social media posts Luna explained the simple rationale behind her attempt to hold Schiff accountable for perpetuating the Russia collusion hoax.
“Schiff lied to the American people. He used his position on House Intel to push a lie that cost American taxpayers millions of dollars. He is a dishonor to the House of Representatives,” Luna wrote.
“Knowingly using your position on House Intel to push a lie that ripped apart our country, cost taxpayers millions of dollars, and authorized spying on a US President and then proceeding to double down on the lie within days of the Durham report coming out makes you unfit for office. Ethics should investigate,” Luna continued.
To date, no one has been held accountable for pushing the Russia collusion hoax.
