Not every Republican is on board with Donald Trump fighting to count every legal vote.
Some are trying to push him off the stage.
And this Republican that endorsed Joe Biden just got hit with one nasty surprise.
Ohio’s RINO Governor Mike DeWine found out he might have a primary challenge on his hands after declaring Joe Biden the President-elect even though President Trump is still fighting to expose what he claims is widespread voter fraud.
“Who will be running for Governor of the Great State of Ohio? Will be hotly contested!” the President tweeted about DeWine who is up for re-election in 2022.
The President’s tweet came after DeWine conceded the race to Joe Biden in an interview on fake news CNN and endorsed Biden as President-elect.
“On the other hand, it’s clear that certainly based on what we know now that Joe Biden is the president-elect, and that transition for the country’s sake it’s important for a normal transition to start through. And the president can go on his other track, his legal track, we should respect that, but we also need to begin that process,” Governor DeWine told fake news CNN host Jake Tapper.
The left-wing DeWine—who supported gun confiscation and registration laws—may face a prominent conservative in the 2022 Republican primary after selling out the President.
Ohio conservative Congressman and prominent Trump supporter Jim Jordan is considering a run for governor to oust DeWine.
“But Jordan has begun privately talking about running for governor, according to Ohio Republicans who have spoken with him. In a sign he’s testing the political waters, Jordan since Trump’s tweet has begun firing off anti-DeWine tweets of his own, belittling the governor’s new restrictions on dancing at weddings and other private gatherings and a three-week curfew order announced on Tuesday,” Cleveland.com reported.
“It’s on his mind, I’ll put it that way,” a Republican consultant told Cleveland.com. “I would say it’s unlikely in the end knowing him, but I’m not going to shut the door on it.”
Mike DeWine is Joe Biden’s favorite Republican.
Biden cited DeWine’s tyrannical mask mandate and lockdowns as a model for how Republican governors should submit to his calls forcing Americans to wear masks and closing down businesses.
“One of the leaders in this area has been the Republican governor in Ohio,” Biden told reporters.
Ohio used to be a bellwether swing state.
But President Trump carried Ohio by decisive margins in both 2016 and 2020.
It’s a solid red state that deserves a solid conservative and Trump supporter as governor.
Instead, many conservatives believe Ohio has a gun-grabbing, mask mandating, business closing Joe Biden lackey in the governor’s mansion.
And now Jim Jordan may change that in 2022.
If Jordan ran against DeWine, President Trump would be sure to endorse him and campaign on his behalf.
That alone could be enough to force out the liberal DeWine.
