Robert Mueller went silent during the election season.
He was silently pressing forward on his coup to overthrow Donald Trump.
But Mueller is about to make the one mistake that will destroy him.
Robert Mueller Goes Quiet
Robert Mueller went quiet during the campaign season.
He didn’t want to meddle in the elections and give Trump proof he was nothing more than a political assassin.
But that didn’t mean he shut down his operation.
Mueller hauled witnesses in front of the grand jury to frame Trump associate Roger Stone for colluding with the Russians.
The special counsel also spent up to 50 hours meeting with former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort.
Trump supporters speculated he squeezed Manafort to provide false testimony to frame Donald Trump for working with the Russians to rig the 2016 election.
Now Mueller looks like he is ready to unleash an avalanche of indictments.
Trump supporter Jerome Corsi stated on his internet radio show that he believes Mueller will indict him for perjury.
Corsi stated he cooperated with investigators and believed he cooperated.
But he explained Mueller caught him in a perjury trap.
Mueller appears to want to indict Roger Stone for something.
Stone released text messages proving he told the truth under oath when he said New York City radio host Randy Credico acted as his backchannel source to WikiLeaks.
So now reports are surfacing that Mueller is investigating Stone for witness tampering.
Credico claims Stone threatened his dog if he testified that he was not Stone’s backchannel source.
Credico denied being Stone’s source under oath but text messages between the two show he may have been lying because he passed information about WikiLeaks plans to Stone.
Amid all of that speculation, Mueller appears ready to make the one mistake that could ruin him.
Robert Mueller may Indict Donald Trump, Jr.
Politico exclusively reported that Donald Trump Jr. told friends he believes Mueller will indict him:
Donald Trump Jr., who served as a key campaign surrogate for Republican candidates, has told friends in recent weeks that he believes he could be indicted, according to one of those people.
Mueller is gunning for Trump Jr. over the June 2016 Trump Tower meeting with Russians promising dirt on Hillary Clinton.
No “dirt” changed hands and the Russians lied about the true purpose of the meeting.
But Mueller needs a high profile scalp.
So he could charge Trump Jr. with lying to Congress.
Trump Jr. testified that he did not tell Trump about the meeting afterward.
Mueller could squeeze Paul Manafort or Michael Cohen – whose plea agreements provide for leniency for their sentences only if they provide valuable information – to fabricate testimony claiming Trump Jr. lied about not telling his father about the meeting.
The special counsel could do this for one big reason.
He knows he turned up nothing on Trump.
But he also knows attacking the President’s family is a red line.
Mueller could indict Trump Jr. to bait Trump into firing him.
That is Mueller’s only chance to push Congress to impeach the President.
Despite what the fake news reports indicate, if Mueller truly put country first he would not be leading a coup to overthrow the President and undo the results of the 2016 election.
