Good news is hard for Robert Mueller to come by.
With his witch hunt going nowhere he is searching for anything good.
But that just got harder after he got the worst news possible handed to him.
No Hard Evidence For Mueller
Robert Mueller has only a few wins under his belt in the past year.
But none of those wins affect Trump.
Despite jailing two former Trump officials, their jailing has nothing to do with Trump or his campaign.
So while the media is having a field day, Mueller knows it isn’t enough for him.
And Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Richard Burr pointed out why.
Sen. Burr leads the top committee in the Senate dealing with Mueller.
Outside of Mueller’s team, there are few with as much information on his investigation.
Despite that, Burr says nobody is providing him hard evidence of any collusion.
Mueller undoubtedly knows that, but he doesn’t want the American people to know.
At this rate, Mueller won’t provide any evidence.
But he needs to make it seem like he will.
With Sen. Burr spilling the beans, Mueller is in a tough spot.
Mueller Rushing For Evidence
Mueller is searching for anything he can find to prove collusion occurred.
But unless he looks at the Democrat party, he probably won’t find anything.
It is common knowledge that the Democrats colluded with the Hillary campaign to shut down Bernie Sanders.
They also colluded with a shady company called Fusion GPS to pay a former British spy to compile an anti-Trump dossier.
These are all verifiable facts.
But the chance that Mueller looks into them is next to zero.
His investigation is for taking down Trump, and nothing more.
With a lack of evidence, there is only one move forward for Mueller.
He can either quit, which is unlikely; or pull his shadiest move yet.
Mueller’s Shadiest Move
In order to create evidence against Trump, Mueller can do one thing.
He just needs to interview the president while he’s under oath.
Tricking the president into lying is a real possibility.
Even unintentionally lying or stretching the truth is a crime while under oath.
That’s why Trump’s lawyers are working to prevent an interview.
But Trump continually seems interested in sitting down to clear his name.
It is unclear if that will happen, but it doesn’t seem likely.
Because after all, Mueller can’t force Trump to interview with him.
As a sitting president, he has immunity from that.
But Mueller can force him to stand before a Grand Jury.
Many are speculating Mueller will try to do that.
But first, he needs some form of evidence.
That makes things difficult for Mueller.
If he had evidence of collusion between Trump and Russia he would present it.
His entire career and reputation are on the line.
If his investigation is the phony witch hunt Trump continually claims it is, he is done for.
So Mueller will get desperate in days ahead, with or without evidence.
Do you think Mueller will be able to find evidence on Trump?
