When Joe Biden took office one of the first executive orders he signed was one imposing the equity agenda on the entire federal government.
Equity is a concept derived from the communists that allows the woke mob to equalize outcomes based on people’s race.
In his second inaugural address Governor DeSantis declared that Florida was where “woke goes to die.”
Just days into his second term DeSantis informed all state universities in Florida that they must report how much money, manpower and other resources they devote to diversity, equity and inclusion.

Governor DeSantis rocketed to the top of 2024 polls because conservatives know they can count on DeSantis to do more than shout slogans or issue sternly-worded letters that paper over no meaningful action.
DeSantis followed up that letter by showing every other state school in Florida he meant business in crushing the equity agenda.
Governor DeSantis announced he was appointing six new board members — including conservative activist Chris Rufo — to the board of directors of the New College of Florida.
In addition to Rufo, DeSantis appointed Dr. Mark Bauerlein, Dr. Matthew Spalding, Dr. Charles Kesler, lawyer Debra Jenks and educator Jason Speir.
The Florida Board of Governors appoints a member as well.
These nominations give DeSantis the ability to appoint a majority of the school’s 13-member Board of Trustees.
“As Governor DeSantis stated in his second inaugural speech: ‘We must ensure that our institutions of higher learning are focused on academic excellence and the pursuit of truth.’ Starting today, the ship is turning around. New College of Florida, under the governor’s new appointees, will be refocused on its founding mission of providing a world-class quality education with an exceptional focus on the classics,” DeSantis spokesman Bryan Griffin’s statement announcing the nominations read.
And if there were ever a school that needed to cleanse the woke equity agenda it is the New College of Florida.
The school’s website declared its goal was “a just, diverse, equitable and inclusive community,” where its leadership was “actively working toward eliminating outcome disparities for underrepresented and underserved groups.”
Governor Ron DeSantis does not mess around.
If DeSantis said Florida is where Biden’s woke agenda goes to die, then DeSantis means business.
And DeSantis is proving that is the case by taking over the Board of Trustees of the New College of Florida and expunging all the diversity, equity and inclusion nonsense.
