Joe Biden is making every excuse in the book for rising inflation.
But Biden got some devastating news.
And that’s because Ron DeSantis shut up Joe Biden with the cold dose of reality.
During a speech at the Port of Los Angeles, Joe Biden continued to peddle his falsehood that Russian President Vladimir Putin is responsible for soaring prices.
On the day the government’s figures showed inflation surging to 8.6 percent Biden once again trotted out his false “Putin’s price hike” talking point.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis smacked down this lie.
During a press conference in Bunnell, Governor DeSantis pinned the blame for rising inflation on Joe Biden noting that Biden and his so-called “experts” like Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen all falsely claimed inflation was transitory.
“I think it’s sad to see some of the economic numbers with Bidenflation coming out — 8.6 percent. They tried to say — first, they said it wasn’t going to happen, was transitory and it would basically kind of solve itself,” DeSantis stated.
DeSantis laid the blame for inflation at Joe Biden’s feet pointing out that it was Joe Biden’s disastrous socialist policies that sent prices spiraling out of control.
“Unfortunately, as a result of a lot of bad policy, choices that have been made, you know, you don’t declare war on American energy and undercut our energy independence and think that that’s gonna lead to more affordable energy for people,” DeSantis added.
“Of course not, it’s caused it to go up. You don’t print trillions and trillions of dollars and think that that’s somehow not gonna be reflected in rising prices and rising inflation. And so it’s frustrating to see that because I think it didn’t need to happen. I think it was a lot of getting a lot of things wrong up in D.C.,” DeSantis continued.
Gas already reached $5 per gallon nationally.
It was $2.39 when Joe Biden took office.
Biden wants to blame that price increase on Putin’s war in Ukraine.
But it was Joe Biden that slapped ineffective sanctions on Russian oil that disrupted the world oil market.
Gas already shot up to $3.30 before Putin invaded Ukraine due to Joe Biden declaring war on American energy.
Biden shut down construction on the Keystone XL pipeline, halted oil exploration in ANWR, and stopped issuing new oil and natural gas leases on federal lands.
Likewise, inflation rose to 7.9 percent before the war in Ukraine.
Joe Biden overheated the economy by ramming his disastrous $1.9 trillion blue state bailout bill into law back in March 2021.
Even liberal economists cautioned that the bill was inflationary.
But Biden ignored the advice believing the pandemic provided him the opening to turn America into a socialist nation.
Now Biden is trying to duck responsibility for the rise in gas prices and overall inflation.
Ron DeSantis is not having any of that excuse-making.
