After being caught secretly recording his client, Donald Trump, Michael Cohen found himself in hot water.
Trump’s current lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, even went so far as to say that Cohen would be disbarred for it.
But he isn’t the only one Giuliani is angry at, and Cohen’s own lawyer just got a mouthful for something he did.
For some time, Michael Cohen was seen as one of Donald Trump’s closest allies.
He served as the President’s personal lawyer for many years, and Trump confided in him confidently for many years.
But as it turns out, Cohen didn’t look at Trump the same way, and like so many people who were once close to him, he has turned on him.
Cohen secretly recorded Trump during a discussion about making a payment to porn star Stormy Daniels, who was threatening to claim an affair with the then-presidential candidate.
The conversation brought about nothing of substance, and no payment was agreed on, but the media played up the short recording as a sort of “smoking gun.”
But while the Trump recording was played up, there was another recording that isn’t getting the same media treatment.
Michael Cohen also secretly recorded a two-hour conversation with CNN host Chris Cuomo, where he admitted that he arranged for the payment to Stormy Daniels on his own and that Trump was not involved.
That recording vindicates Trump on the claim that he’s stood by that he was not involved, or aware of the payment.
But that was not the main takeaway from the recording.
During the recording, Cuomo asked Cohen if he was recording, and he stated that he was not.
That is a clear lie, considering that his phone was recording the entire conversation.
Trump’s current lawyer, Rudy Giuliani was quick to point that out.
He was also quick to go after Cohen’s own lawyer, Lanny Davis, who stated that his client “did not attempt to deceive” in recording the private conversation.
Giuliani took to Twitter to ask whether Cohen or his “shill” lawyer was the biggest deceiver.
Lanny Davis said his client Michael Cohen “did not intend to deceive.” Yet his client put his phone in a desk saying not recording talk and then proceeded to secretly record Chris Cuomo for two hours.Whose the biggest deceiver Cohen or his shill Davis?

This tweet, which fits well coming from Trump’s lawyer, exposes just how dishonest Cohen and his representation are.
Despite being a longtime ally of Trump, Cohen was quick to turn on his once client when things got tough.
Special Counsel Robert Mueller knows that if Trump has any secrets that Cohen knows about them.
So when Mueller ordered a raid on Cohen’s office and home, it was clear that he was looking for dirt.
President Trump defended Cohen in the immediate aftermath of the raid, out of respect and loyalty.
It seems that Cohen didn’t have that same respect and loyalty for Trump.
But that shouldn’t have been too surprising for President Trump.
In his war against the establishment in Washington, D.C., there is no telling who will turn on him.
He has already had to fire multiple administration officials, as well as rearrange his cabinet multiple times.
But despite the challenges he is facing, Trump is continuing on in his quest to make America great again.
