Fake news media reporters fell all over themselves to slobber all over Michelle Obama’s speech at the Democratic National Convention.
But there was one glaring problem with the speech.
And Rush Limbaugh pointed out the one big thing Michelle Obama refused to talk about.
During Michelle Obama’s lie-filled speech, the former First Lady never once mentioned Kamala Harris.
This stuck out to Rush Limbaugh, but not for the reason anyone would think.
“I have to tell you, folks, you want to know how out of touch the party is, the big speech last night was delivered by, everybody knows, Michelle (My Belle) Obama. Now, two things about Michelle (My Belle) Obama. She did not mention — and I didn’t even catch this. I was watching it on Fox, and when it was over, they went to Donna Brazile, who was fit to be tied. Donna Brazile was mad as hell because Michelle (My Belle) didn’t mention Kamala Harris. Not once,” Limbaugh began.
Limbaugh explained that Obama taped her speech before Harris was selected.
But to Limbaugh, this was just more evidence how little enthusiasm Democrats have for the Biden-Harris ticket if Michelle Obama could not even be bothered to tape some praise for Harris and have it edited into the speech.
“So the point is, even after it was announced that Kamala Harris was the VP, Michelle (My Belle) Obama didn’t care enough and nobody else apparently did, didn’t care enough to go back in and, you know, do a little 15- or 20-second insert, or maybe redo the whole thing. Now, maybe they thought it was so hot, maybe they thought it was so good that they didn’t want to risk doing it again,” Limbaugh concluded.
In Michelle Obama’s speech, she barely mentioned Joe Biden.
Instead, the former First Lady used her time to assail Trump as unfit for office and Trump supporters as racists.
“They see people shouting in grocery stores, unwilling to wear a mask to keep us all safe. They see people calling the police on folks minding their own business just because of the color of their skin. They see an entitlement that says only certain people belong here, that greed is good, and winning is everything because as long as you come out on top, it doesn’t matter what happens to everyone else. And they see what happens when that lack of empathy is ginned up into outright disdain,” Obama hysterically ranted.
The lack of enthusiasm for the Democratic ticket could become an issue.
Poll after poll shows Joe Biden voters are voting out of hatred for President Trump, while Trump supporters intend to turnout to support the President.
Michelle Obama not even being able to be bothered to offer a perfunctory endorsement of Kamala Harris speaks to how little energy and support she adds to a ticket whose lead in the polls may not be as secure as it appears.
