Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi’s witch hunt against the Trump administration continues.
They are doing everything in their power to take down Trump and his allies.
And now Sean Hannity is in hot water after this one impeachment call.
Sean Hannity is one of President Trump’s biggest supporters.
He consistently uses his media platform and air time to support the President against the left’s lies.
But now, Hannity is in hot water after one phone call was revealed.
In a recent segment, Hannity took to the air to defend himself against the rumors that he has spoken with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo regarding Ukrainian Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch’s ties to the July 25th call between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelensky.
There have been several claims that Ambassador Yovanovitch was a victim of a smear campaign led by President Trump’s personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, including a sworn testimony by Undersecretary of State Affairs David Hale.
It was later revealed that the smear campaign against the ambassador did not stem from Giuliani, but from The Hill’s conservative columnist John Solomon.
But Undersecretary Hale is determined to drag any ally of Trump’s name through the dirt.
Hale claimed to House impeachment investigators that Hannity had pushed a political agenda and false narrative against Marie Yovanovitch on his news segment and that Mike Pompeo had personally reached out to the news host.
And now, both Yovanovitch and State Department senior official George Kent have joined Undersecretary Hale in his claims.
In Yovanovitch’s closed-door testimony to the House impeachment members, she claimed that Pompeo “was going to place a call to Mr. Hannity on Fox News to say, you know, ‘What is going on? I mean, do you have proof of these kinds of allegations or not? And if you have proof, you know, tell me, and if not, stop.’”
Kent has since come out and claimed that a state department official did reach out to Hannity, but he does not believe that it was Pompeo.
“I believe, to the best of my recollection, the counselor for the department, Ulrich Brechbuhl, reached out and suggested to Mr. Hannity that if there was no proof of the allegations, that he should stop covering them,” Kent claimed.
Hannity took to the air Monday, to speak with guest Gregg Jarrett about these claims:
“So apparently David Hale’s testimony was released a short time ago, and he says in the transcript it was his understanding that Pompeo called me to ask you what evidence you had of allegations regarding Yovanovitch,” Hannity told Jarrett. “Gregg, how many times do I have to say it? We barely mentioned this woman! Four times in passing. No, I never got a call from Secretary of State Pompeo or anybody else. Why would they lie about this?”
In response, Jarrett told Hannity that he is the victim of a smear campaign by the left.
The left has no evidence to hold this impeachment inquiry together, and are trying to smear President Trump and any allies that they can.
