This was the moment President Trump was waiting for.
Joe Biden and the Democrats were furious.
And all hell broke loose when one senator forced a vote that could keep Trump President.
On January 6 a joint session of Congress will convene to certify the results of the Electoral College.
Dozens of House Republicans intend to object to the results and present their evidence of massive voter fraud in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
But to force a two-hour debate on the results and a vote on accepting the certification, the Trump supporters in the House need one senator to join the objection to force a two-hour debate and vote on the state’s results that they are contesting.
Missouri Republican Josh Hawley announced on social media that he would object to the results of the Electoral College.
Hawley cited states like Pennsylvania that illegally changed their rules for mail-in voting as one reason he was objecting.
“I cannot vote to certify the electoral college results on January 6 without raising the fact that some states, particularly Pennsylvania, failed to follow their own state election laws,” Hawley declared.
Hawley then cited the Communist Chinese-style censorship regime imposed by the fake news media and big tech during the campaign to suppress negative news about Joe Biden.
“And I cannot vote to certify without pointing out the unprecedented effort of mega corporations, including Facebook and Twitter, to interfere in this election, in support of Joe Biden,” Hawley added.
The fake news refused to cover a New York Post story about the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop.
Facebook and Twitter censored the story and Twitter even banned users for tweeting a link to the Post’s reporting.
Later it was revealed that the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop are the subject of multiple criminal investigations into Hunter Biden.
A Media Research Center poll found one in six Biden voters would not have supported Biden if they knew the truth about his corruption and scandal-plagued career.
Senator Hawley added that Trump supporters should be given the chance to present their evidence of voter fraud and Congress should take action to close any gaps in election security.
“At the very least, Congress should investigate allegations of voter fraud and adopt measures to secure the integrity of our elections. But Congress has so far failed to act,” Hawley continued.
Hawley explained that he was not engaging in any undemocratic or unprecedented acts, but that he was merely following the precedent set by the Democrats after the 2004 and 2016 elections.
“For these reasons, I will follow the same practice Democrat members of Congress have in years past and object during the certification process on January 6 to raise these critical issues,” Hawley wrote.
“Following both the 2004 and 2016 elections, Democrats in Congress objected during the certification of electoral votes in order to raise concerns about election integrity. They were praised by Democratic leadership and the media when they did,” Hawley concluded.
