An outrageous statement from Democrat Raphael Warnock is sure to haunt him.
He took an awful stand against Americans’ fundamental rights.
A shocking video of a Georgia candidate made Chuck Schumer weak in the knees.
No one could have predicted the upheaval of 2020.
A record number of Americans have bought guns this year, including groups that normally vote Democrat.
In these uncertain times people want to have the right to protect themselves.
This is bad news for Democrat Senate candidate Rev. Raphael Warnock who, in his past, mocked churchgoers who defended themselves.
A video from 2014 showed Warnock speaking out against the Safe Carry Protection Act, which Georgia lawmakers enacted in 2014.
The act tried to reduce the number of gun free zones which are soft targets for criminals.
The video, posted by the NRA, shows Warnock laughing, saying, “Somebody decided that they had a bright idea to pass a piece of legislation that will allow for guns and concealed weapons to be carried in churches.”
The Georgia legislature was smart to pass that law before tragedy struck.
In Texas on November 5, 2017, Stephen Willeford heard shots from at the nearby First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas. He grabbed his AR-15 and ran to the church putting an end to the attack. However, 26 people were killed and 20 others injured that day.
In the aftermath of the horrific tragedy Texas changed its laws to allow concealed carry permit holders to be armed in their churches and houses of worship.
When a Texas church was attacked on December 29, 2019, a volunteer church security team member took down an armed attacker within seconds and saved many lives.
Warnock has also said that Christians couldn’t serve in the military and also serve God.
“America, nobody can serve God and the military,” Warnock said. “You can’t serve God and money. You cannot serve God and mammon at the same time. America, choose ye this day who you will serve. Choose ye this day.”
Warnock isn’t a pacifist as he has been arrested multiple times for protesting, it seems like he’s just anti-American.
“Video of the remarks surfaced as Warnock is facing criticism for other controversial statements, including his claim that ‘America needs to repent for its worship of whiteness,’” The Washington Free Beacon reported. “He has also come under scrutiny for his support for his religious mentor James Hal Cone, who said that white Christians practice the ‘theology of the Antichrist’ and described white people as ‘satanic.’”
Warnock is a radical who doesn’t respect the Constitution or the people who protect him by serving in the military.
