Since becoming President, Donald Trump has been making gains in the Supreme Court.
And now it’s his time to find out just how strong the court is.
That’s because their latest ruling will decide whether Trump wins re-election in 2020.
In President Trump’s first term, he has been able to do historic things.
The economy is performing better than it has in decades.
Unemployment is at historic lows, especially for minorities, who are at work at a higher rate than any time in U.S. history.
And on top of this, the U.S. is beginning to regain the respect it once had on the global stage.
North Korea is on the verge of peace, due to Trump’s negotiation tactics.
And China, along with other hostile countries like Iran are on notice that the U.S. is no longer going to allow them to walk all over them, like they were able to do under Barack Obama.
Despite these strong wins, there is still a lot that Trump hasn’t been able to do.
Considering that the first two years of his presidency were constantly held back due to Robert Mueller’s unnecessary witch hunt, Democrats were able to block major Trump issues.
The biggest of those issues is building a wall on the Southern border.
On the campaign trail, there was no issue that excited people more than the wall.
Trump couldn’t go to a rally without the crowd erupting into a “build the wall” chant.
But despite the excitement, little has been done.
While there has been small progress, with a few miles of the wall being built, in the grand scheme of things, there is virtually nothing done.
But Trump has a plan to change that.
In recent months he has worked with the Pentagon, and other government agencies to secure billions in funding to build a wall, without having to go to Congress.
He simply found unallocated funds, largely for military construction projects, and allocated them to building a wall on the border.
After all, there is no better way to secure the United States than by building a wall on the border.
But the Democrats are furious, and an Obama-appointed Judge recently blocked a large chunk of that funding.
U.S. District Judge Haywood Gilliam, an Obama appointee, blocked Trump’s administration from access to $2.5 billion in military funding.
Following the ruling, Trump went to the notoriously liberal 9th Court of Appeals to request a stay on the ruling, to allow construction to continue, only for them to deny him.
So now, the administration is going to the Supreme Court, sending a stay request on July 12th.
And now, the Supreme Court is deliberating, with their decision coming any day now.
If Trump is able to win in this Supreme Court ruling, it will fare extremely well for him in the 2020 election.
It will not only show the power of the Supreme Court with his new appointees, but it will show that Trump is one to follow through on his promises.
Politicians rarely follow through on their promises, especially their boldest ones.
Trump is actually trying to make good on his word.
