Georgia is ground zero for Donald Trump’s allegations of voter fraud.
Now the President mounted his last stand.
And Ted Cruz revealed this jaw-dropping truth about voter fraud in Georgia.
The issue of voter fraud loomed large in the two Georgia Senate runoff elections.
Trump supporters contend massive voter fraud stole the election from Donald Trump and that Republican officials like Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and Governor Brian Kemp failed to uphold the integrity of the election.
That disenchantment carried over to the runoff races where Republicans questioned if their vote would count or be canceled out by Democrat fraud.
Texas Senator Ted Cruz campaigned in Georgia ahead of the runoffs and tried to put that narrative to bed.
Speaking to reporters after an event, Senator Cruz explained that he told the crowd of supporters that the best way to overcome the Democrats’ voter fraud operation was to vote in massive numbers so that the Democrats’ cheating could not swing the outcome.
“What I just told this crowd and what I think is the best answer for Tuesday is the best answer is to win by a big enough margin that nobody can steal it, and so this is a turnout election at this point,” Senator Cruz told the press.
Senator Cruz also addressed the sentiment by a small minority of individuals urging Trump supporters to boycott the runoff election to inflict punishment on the Georgia Republican Party for not properly addressing the concerns about gaps in state election law that opened the door for widespread voter fraud.
Cruz explained that he had not experienced that sentiment and also claimed that anyone telling Trump supporters to stay home and not vote was rooting for the Democrats to win.
“I recognize there have been some people talking about it. To be honest, most of the people talking about folks staying home because they were unhappy about the presidential race, most of them politically are rooting for the Democrats to win. I haven’t heard one actual conservative in Georgia or anywhere else who’s suggested it would be a good thing to hand the United States Senate over to Chuck Schumer and the radical left,” Senator Cruz added.
Senator Cruz added that he understood Trump supporters’ frustration with the election result as well as the feeling that their concerns about voter fraud fell on deaf ears.
Instead, Senator Cruz suggested that they combat voter fraud by recruiting friends and family members to vote in the runoff election.
“I think the answer if you’re unhappy about [the general election] is not to stay home but show up, bring your friends, bring your family, and end up with a big victory Tuesday night. I hope that’s what we’re gonna see,” Senator Cruz concluded.
