The Democrats’ double standards are absolutely nauseating.
They’re making awful excuses for illegal immigrants.
These seven horrible words made Tucker Carlson absolutely sick.
Currently the United States of America has banned immigrants from most of Europe due to the coronavirus.
Non-citizens from Britain, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and more are all just out of luck.
Even vaccinated, COVID-tested people from these areas can’t enter America at the moment.
The Biden administration appears to be quite worried that immigrants could bring COVID into the country.
So worried that for many countries, such as England, the State Department isn’t issuing any new green cards.
Yet over a million illegal immigrants have come over the southern border and the Biden administration won’t answer whether they’re being tested for COVID.
“The Five” co-host Geraldo Rivera tried to insinuate that holding illegal immigrants to the same standards as any other country was in fact reminiscent of being concerned about immigrants in the 19th century during a discussion with Fox News host Tucker Carlson.
While debating the illegal immigration crisis, Rivera said that he was glad Carlson wasn’t linking COVID-19 to the migrant surge.
“Why?” Carlson questioned.
Rivera responded by drawing parallels between those concerned over the current situation and people in the 19th century.
“Are you freakin’ kidding me?” Carlson asked. Adding, “Oh spare me. Oh spare me.”
“The Chinese in the 1880s, the Italians,” Rivera claimed.
“Sorry, I just threw up in my mouth,” Carlson responded.
Rivera kept pushing the idea, saying that some people in the past claimed that immigrants were bringing in smallpox and tuberculosis.
“You know, Geraldo, we live in a country where we are being forced to take a vaccine that some people – newsflash – don’t wanna take, that Americans can be arrested for not wearing a mask because COVID is so serious! But foreign nationals break our laws carrying COVID and somehow they’re exempt from the requirements that we live under? That’s not xenophobia. That’s equal application of the law, and it’s not happening now. And it’s an appalling double standard that every American – including you – should be mad about.” Carlson noted.
Rivera said that instead he was angry about the “exaggeration and hype.”
“What?! It’s a policy. They are not forcing – look, if you work in the federal government you have to get the vaccine, but if you break our laws as an illegal alien, you don’t? Why don’t you explain why that’s a good idea to me?” Carlson responded.
Rivera knew he had been outclassed and decided to change the subject.
The simple fact is that the Democrats cannot have it both ways. They cannot claim that COVID is such a serious illness that life cannot continue as normal and at the same time claim it is discriminatory to be concerned that illegal immigrants coming into the country are not even being tested.
