CNN is in crisis.
Since Donald Trump left office, its primetime ratings plummeted by nearly two thirds.
And now this big-name CNN host shocked everyone by announcing his show is over.
Former Mediaite managing editor Jon Nicosia set off a round of speculation when he tweeted out that a major CNN host was leaving the network by June 1.
That same night, Don Lemon made a strange announcement about that being the final broadcast of his show “CNN Tonight with Don Lemon.”
Afterwards, everyone assumed Lemon was the big-name CNN host Nicosia predicted would leave the network by the end of May.
Lemon quickly put out another tweet clarifying that he was ending the branding of his show as “CNN Tonight with Don Lemon” and the show would be renamed to “Don Lemon Tonight.”
Don Lemon is one of CNN’s most widely mocked hosts.
Lemon pretends to be a neutral journalist when in reality he is a Democrat Party propagandist that dutifully recites the left’s talking points about Donald Trump, congressional Republicans, and identity politics as well as whatever else is the message of the day for the party.
Tucker Carlson makes sport out of pointing out the absurdities that occur on Lemon’s program.
But there is still a major shakeup at CNN on the way.
Nicosia later tweeted that Lemon was not the CNN host he reported was finished at the far-left cable channel.
