They thought they could tear him down.
They pulled out all the stops.
Now, this black Republican faced a shocking attack from the Democrats.
On the opening night of the RNC, South Carolina Senator Tim Scott gave a beautiful speech.
He started by discussing his love for his country and explaining his family’s rise from poverty in what he called, “cotton to Congress.”
People across all GOP circles praised his passionate speech, saying it was one of the most thoughtful and heartfelt they had heard.
People also said he gave the most concise explanation of GOP principles in this speech.
His speech summed up Republican principles and demonstrated the best of their ideas and beliefs.
However, the left did not see Scott’s speech the same way as the rest of the world.
Immediately, Twitter was flooded with racist insults and jabs about Scott.
Ironic, considering the left has been fighting tooth and nail to support BLM despite the protests becoming extremely violent.
But because Scott is a Republican, he received the brunt of their criticism and hate.
Below are just some examples of the many, many racist messages directed at Scott.
“Senator Tim Scott – The House Negro on call.” – George Monroe
“Tim Scott is the Uncle Tom of the trump* party.” – Darryl Stewart
Brandon A Jiles tweeted:
“Tim Scott is a freaking coon. This fool said from cotton to congress. Ancestors rolling over in they graves.”
Steve Bohne tweeted:
“Biden will turn America into a socialist society? Really, Tim? After last night’s RNC performance, I expect the Oreo Tim Scott to be promoted to the house Negro in the trump White House.”
And there are many more comments exactly like that.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t end there.
The racism gets worse.
Franco White tweeted:
“@NBCNews Sen. Tim Scott’s is a good black house n*gger,
Donald Trump is a white man of wealth, A wealthy white man negative character has always been off limit to the black house n*ggers. Sen. Tim Scott,must stay positive when discussing Trump’s character.”
The racial slurs are endless.
Simply because they disagree with Scott’s politics, the left believes it is okay to pull out all the stops and viciously attack Scott.
The amount of name-calling, insults, and verbal abuse is utterly unbelievable.
And it comes from the side that demanded Trump be accountable for each and every racist comment made by every individual follower.
They held Trump to this impossible standard, but it’s doubtful they will ask Biden to do the same.
Scott’s speech only reveals the ugly two-faced nature of the left and the lengths they will go to destroy what they don’t agree with.
