There is one huge hole in the Democrats’ impeachment that could bring it crashing down.
Their 2016 plot to elect Hillary Clinton is about to come back to haunt them in a big way.
And that’s because this key Ukrainian witness stepped forward with the smoking gun that could blow up impeachment.
The election of 2016 is one for the history books.
That election changed American politics for good.
The Democrats decided with that election that they weren’t going to play by the rules that everyone had always played by.
The FBI lied to the Justice Department, using information that was paid for by the Clinton campaign.
The Ukrainian government also went out of their way to coordinate with the DNC to help dig up dirt on Donald Trump.
After all this, the Democrats are impeaching Trump because Trump asked the Ukrainian President to investigate the fact that Joe Biden admitted to using American foreign aid as leverage to get a prosecutor who was investigating his son fired.
If Democrats applied the same standards to themselves as Donald Trump, there would be impeachments going nonstop.
No president in the history of America has been impeached with so little cause.
While the Democrats are straight up lying and saying that the DNC didn’t collude with Ukraine, the New York Times and Politico reported on it at the time.
All the Republicans have to do now is line up the witnesses.
And that’s exactly what Mitch McConnell is doing.
According to the Daily Caller:
The Republican chairmen of three Senate committees are seeking records from and interviews with a former DNC contractor and a former Ukrainian diplomatic official to determine whether there was any coordination between the Ukrainian government and Democrats in the 2016 election, an allegation Democrats have dismissed as a conspiracy theory.
Sens. Chuck Grassley, Ron Johnson and Lindsey Graham said Friday that they are requesting the records from Alexandra Chalupa, the former DNC contractor, and Andrii Telizhenko, a former political officer who worked in the Ukrainian embassy.
The senators said the request is a continuation of Grassley’s inquiry in 2017 about possible coordination between the DNC and Ukrainian embassy to dig up dirt on the Trump campaign and former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort.
Chalupa met throughout 2016 with Ukrainian embassy officials, and sought to trade information related to Manafort, who worked through 2014 for former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, on Jan. 11, 2017, Politico reported. Telizhenko told Politico he was directed by his bosses to help Chalupa in the effort.
In addition to Chalupa’s efforts, multiple Ukrainian government officials spoke out against Trump during the 2016 campaign.
With any other election it would be irreverent four years later whether the losing side got information from a foreign nation, but it’s just another piece of evidence that shows the clear double standard that exists.
Do you think that evidence of Ukrainian collusion with the DNC will come out once impeachment gets to the Senate?
