Joe Biden’s political allies are in serious danger.
One by one, the polls are turning against them with just days to go until the midterms.
And now, this top Biden ally just got word that will end his campaign.
With just days to go until the 2022 midterm elections, Joe Biden’s political allies in the Democratic Party are scrambling like never before.
Polls have sharply turned against Democrats in the last few weeks as early voting picks up and midterm voters tune into ads that lay bare the disastrous consequences of unified Democrat rule over Washington, D.C.
Now, states that Democrats thought they had in the bag are now turning against them in a major way, and several Democrat senators who were once considered a shoo-in for re-election are now struggling to keep their political careers afloat.
And one such top Senate Democrat is now in danger of watching his campaign collapse in the closing days of the midterm cycle.
The Washington Examiner reports, “Former football star Herschel Walker (R-GA) has pulled ahead of incumbent Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA) in the polls in the Georgia Senate race in the time since the two debated more than two weeks ago.
“The momentum by the former University of Georgia running back comes as GOP candidates across the country are seeing a strong finish in the final stretch of polling before midterm elections.”
This is a stunning reversal from just a few weeks ago, when it appeared that Warnock was well on his way to winning re-election by a comfortable margin.
In fact, many Democrats were far more worried about states like Nevada than they were Georgia.
But now, Democrat leaders across the country are panicking as Warnock’s lead in the polls has all but evaporated in the last week.
That’s why they’re bringing out figures such as Barack Obama to campaign with Warnock, because they know that if Joe Biden attends any campaign rallies with the Senate Democrat, his support will actually drop in the polls rather than recover.
In fact, Biden himself is so deeply unpopular in Georgia that Warnock is trying to keep him at arm’s length at all times, out of fear of tanking his own campaign in the closing days.
But it may not be enough in the end.
“Walker currently leads Warnock in the Real Clear Politics polling average by 1.4 percentage points, a massive swing compared with the 3.3 percentage point lead Warnock held on Oct. 14, when the two debated in Savannah, Georgia.
“Of the six major polls conducted entirely after the only debate between Walker and Warnock, Walker has led three of them and has been tied with Warnock in one,” adds the Washington Examiner.
Biden knows that the tides are shifting against him and his Senate allies.
And now with just days to go until the election, Democrats realize the nightmare scenario that awaits them as some of their strongest candidates now face the serious possibility of losing re-election.
