Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign is still under scrutiny over two years after it ended in disaster.
And now, one shocking development could end up ruining Clinton’s image like never before.
It’s all because one top Clinton ally is now looking at years behind bars.
Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign for the White House went down as one of the worst in history.
Not only did Clinton suffer the humiliation of losing to Donald Trump, whom she, her allies, and nearly everyone in the mainstream media predicted would lose to her, but she also went on to lose several critical swing states that had voted for Democrats in every Presidential election for over 30 years.
For Clinton, election night 2016 was one of the worst nights of her life.
But things have only gotten worse since.
Not only did Clinton have to watch Donald Trump succeed Barack Obama in the White House, but she also had to witness President Trump undo much of Obama’s legacy as President, including appointing two new conservatives to the US Supreme Court.
And for Clinton, the bad news only continues to pile on even years after losing to Trump.
Now, she just got word that one of her top allies may be looking at years in prison after three men overdosed and two of them died in his California apartment.
The AP reports, “Federal prosecutors released new details Thursday as they charged [Ed] Buck, 65, with distributing methamphetamine resulting in Moore’s death on July 27, 2017. A criminal complaint and accompanying affidavit detailed multiple allegations that Buck injected men with meth against their wishes during sexual encounters.”
“The investigation found at least 10 alleged victims, several of whom described in salacious detail Buck’s apparent fetish to pay men to use drugs and have sex, which often took a dark turn and led to several suspected overdoses,” adds the AP.
Buck is a mega Democratic donor with deep ties to Bill and Hillary Clinton.
According to the AP, “Buck has donated tens of thousands of dollars to California candidates, including Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom, and is well known in LGBTQ political circles.”
He’s also donated heavily to Hillary Clinton’s 2016 failed campaign for the White House.
And now, his career may be completely over after he has been accused of facilitating the overdose of three men at his Los Angeles apartment, which resulted in two of those men dying.
The overdoses took place over just two years as well.
“The federal charge comes two days after the district attorney brought the drug house charges in the case of the man who said he escaped after overdosing there on Sept. 4 and again on Sept. 11,” adds the AP.
The problems for Buck are numerous.
He’s now looking at years behind bars.
But worse yet, his trial is also going to put a spotlight on the Clintons.
