Katie Hill was one of the fresh faces of the Democratic Party.
She managed to take a Republican seat in Congress and flipped it, Democrat.
One thing that she ran on was the #MeToo movement that Brett Kavanaugh was unqualified to be a Supreme Court justice because one woman accused him of trying to rape her while she was in high school without any corroborating evidence to back her up.
It’s ironic that Katie Hill was abusing a young staffer on her campaign while she was theoretically standing up for women.
The young woman described the relationship as “toxic” and said in one message to Hill “I am terrified of pushing back against you or upsetting you.”
Katie Hill went from this relationship to a new illegal relationship with a male staffer who received a large bonus from Hill.
But somehow the media has twisted the story so that Katie Hill is the victim.
Katie Hill said that she was attacked because she was an easy target as a woman.
This is preposterous. If she had been a man, the media would have destroyed her.
She was under an ethics investigation because she broke the rules.
There is nothing unfair in what has happened to her.
She chose to resign rather than face an ethics investigation because her guilt was clear. The photos were out there to prove it.
The only thing that has been unfair is how the Democrats and mainstream media have ignored all her terrible behavior.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez told Politico, “This doesn’t happen to male members in the same way — revenge porn in this respect. It’s horrific. I don’t think we’re really talking about how targeted and serious this is. We’re talking about a major crime…being committed against her.”
The Democrats aren’t willing to have members of their party face justice if they are a minority of some kind.
Because Katie Hill is bisexual and a woman, she doesn’t have to face the consequences of her actions.
Katie Hill’s career should be over for good.
But she is thinking of running for office again.

“I’m not writing anything off. I’m not running any time soon, I can tell you that much,” the California Democrat told CNN on Friday.
“I’m not giving you a no,” she said.
Hill said she doesn’t regret resigning, calling it the right decision for her family and staff.
It’s insane that CNN is even giving the woman airtime, let alone that she is considering a comeback.
