New Jersey Senator Robert Menendez introduced Joe Biden’s centerpiece legislation that will deliver blanket amnesty to at least 11 million illegal aliens.
Biden hopes to ram this controversial bill into law while at the same time using executive orders to dismantle Donald Trump’s border enforcement policies.
Appearing on “Special Report,” former South Carolina Congressman Trey Gowdy declared this bill dead on arrival for the same reason past amnesty bills in 2006, 2007 and 2013 failed which was because they failed to provide border security as well as mass amnesty.
In 2013 Barack Obama and the Democrat-run Senate tried to pass the Schumer-McCain Gang of Eight amnesty bill only to lose nine Senate seats the following November.
Joe Biden’s proposed amnesty bill is even more extreme in that it doesn’t even include the fig leaf of border security that Democrats agreed to tack on to the Gang of Eight amnesty bill.
Democrats once again set up to enter a midterm election running into a headwind of a doomed amnesty bill that did not become law which will demoralize their base while energizing Republican voters.
