The mainstream media would love to prove that Republicans have to deal with coronavirus.
However, their attacks are miserably failing.
A Trump ally completely humiliated CNN with these three shocking words.
Currently vaccines are rolling out to the American people.
In New York State, Andrew Cuomo is trying to use heavy-handed threats of government intervention which are halting the vaccine from getting out.
Medical institutions that don’t follow New York’s strict guidelines for who gets the vaccine will be fined $1 million and revocation of all state licenses. New York is also fining medical institutions who don’t get the vaccine out fast enough.
Florida has a much different approach and is allowing medical experts to make the choices instead of the government.
CNN correspondent Rosa Flores attacked Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R), asking him a loaded question about the vaccine rollout in his state.
Flores asked, “Governor, what has gone wrong with the rollout of the vaccine that we’ve seen phone lines jammed, web sites crashing and —“
“There’s a lot of demand. I mean, I think at the end of the day,” DeSantis started to answer.
Flores interrupted, claiming that she had not finished asking her question.
“My full question is, what went wrong with the rollout of the vaccine when we’ve seen phone lines jammed, web sites crashed and —” Flores said, starting her speech again.
DeSantis pointed out that she was repeating herself.
“To complete it for you, Governor. We’ve seen websites crashed and also seniors waiting overnight for the vaccine.”
The Florida governor asked Flores, “Did you investigate?” in reference to why there were long lines in some places, and the reporter answered that it wasn’t her responsibility.
“Because we distributed the vaccines to the hospitals, and the hospital said, ‘First come, first serve. If you show up, we’ll do it.’ So, they didn’t use a registration system.” DeSantis explained.“There wasn’t anything that was done, and there’s a lot of demand for it. So, people are going to want to go ahead and get it.”
“So, are you saying there was no plan then from the state to make sure that senior citizens didn’t wait outside overnight?” Flores asked.
“So, the state is not dictating to the hospitals how — we are not dictating to Carlos Migoya how he runs his operations here. That would be a total disaster. These guys are much more competent to be able to deliver health care services than a state government could ever be.”
Allowing the hospitals to be in charge of distributing the vaccine will help get the vaccine to vulnerable populations who want to get the shot far better than holding institutions back with the government making health decisions for patients.
