China has lied to the world.
The Communist country spread a lie about the COVID-19 pandemic that has had deadly repercussions.
And Trump made a bombshell statement that will turn the tide with China.
By now, the coronavirus pandemic has changed the world.
There isn’t a single populated corner of the globe that has not been touched by the deadly virus.
Entire countries have been devastated by this pandemic, both by the toppling of economies and the loss of life.
For weeks, both the Chinese government and the World Heath Organization deceived the world into thinking that this virus was the result of a natural accident. They had told the world that the COVID-19 virus had evolved when a viral strain bounced from animal to animal at an outdoor wet market, until finally infecting a human when they ate the meat of the infected animal.
But the truth had yet to be discovered.
Many started to lose their faith in this story, and in the WHO who had supported this tale.
Finally, reports had begun to surface of a laboratory in Wuhan, the very city where patient zero was infected, that specialized in researching coronaviruses.
People began to grow suspicious that this virus had actually escaped from this lab, spreading like wildfire across the globe and leaving death and destruction in its wake.
And now, the White House just made a bombshell announcement regarding these claims that will turn the tide with China.
President Donald Trump just made the announcement that the White House will soon receive conclusive evidence that this pandemic did in fact escape from the Wuhan Institute of Virology, as speculated.
“I don’t think there is any question about it,” Trump responded when asked a question on whether China’s action allowed the pandemic to spread across the globe. He proceeded to tell host Bret Baier that the administration “will be giving a very strong report on what we think happened, and I think it will be very conclusive.” (via Daily Caller)
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo also weighed in on the report, backing up the President’s claims.
“We have said from the beginning, this virus originated in Wuhan, China. We took a lot of grief for that from the outset. But I think the whole world can see now,” Pompeo said on ABC Sunday morning. “Remember, China has a history of infecting the world and they have a history of running sub-standard laboratories.”
“These aren’t the first times that we have had the world exposed to viruses as a result of failures in a Chinese lab.”
One thing is for certain, Trump will not let this slip.
He will make sure the world knows the truth about China’s deadly mistake, and hold them accountable.
Meanwhile, the President is doing all in his power to push for both a vaccine and a cure, and is working with the nation’s top health professionals to eradicate this disease.
