There is nothing that Democrats want more than to impeach President Donald Trump.
It will be the best revenge for the past two years, in which Trump has been reversing their agenda.
But Trump just sent Democrats a grave warning that will stop their calls for impeachment.
Democrats have a very weak case for impeachment.
Their main reason listed is the payment made by his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, to a porn star who was blackmailing him with claims of an affair.
Democrats are trying to claim that payment constitutes “high crimes of misdemeanors,” which is what is required to remove a President from office.
But that claim is ridiculous to most.
It is not uncommon for wealthy, well-known people to be blackmailed with harmful allegations.
Seeing his Presidential campaign in the future, along with his family relationships to maintain, the payment is akin to fulfilling a blackmail request.
So it is unlikely Democrats will be able to use it as evidence towards impeachment.
But that doesn’t mean they won’t try.
Even if they do, President Trump is confident he will be fine.
“It’s hard to impeach somebody who hasn’t done anything wrong and who’s created the greatest economy in the history of our country,” Trump told Reuters.
Then, after being asked whether he’s concerned about impeachment, he responded:
“I’m not concerned, no. I think that the people would revolt if that happened.”
Trump’s statement may seem brash to some, but it is the real truth.
2016 was the year for the silent majority in America who see Trump as a beacon of hope, with a plan to make America great again.
And since taking office, he has been following through on his promises.
This is far off from any Presidential administration in recent memory.
Barack Obama’s campaign slogan was hope and change.
But his legacy is one of division and historic economic ruin.
For Trump, the economy is improving drastically.
People are back at work, and they are saving massive amounts of money in taxes due to his tax cuts.
Not only that, but international relations are doing fantastic.
Trade deals are being fixed, allowing the U.S. to get our fair cut while creating more jobs on U.S. soil.
And North Korea is no longer the nuclear threat it was during the Obama administration.
That one achievement is one that Obama was never expecting to be on the table.
But that’s the theme of the Trump presidency, exceeding expectations.
While all of these great strides forward are being made, the Democrats are working hand in glove with the deep state to take him down by any means necessary.
Robert Mueller is working to take him down with bogus claims of Russia collusion.
Despite there being no proof backing his claims, the media looks to Mueller as a hero.
And while the deep state is working to take him down through Mueller, the violent far-left is being emboldened in the streets.
All of this together creates a dangerous situation.
