Donald Trump alleged widespread voter fraud in the 2020 election.
The corporate media says Trump is a liar.
And Donald Trump got this letter from a whistleblower about the 2020 election that had him seeing red.
Former Attorney General William Barr stated last December that he saw no evidence of voter fraud in the 2020 election.
Trump considered that a betrayal and Barr soon resigned.
During a speech at CPAC Texas, Donald Trump claimed former Attorney General William Barr didn’t see any evidence of fraud because Barr didn’t look for any.
Trump told the crowd he received a letter from the former United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania William McSwain that ripped the conduct of the election in Pennsylvania.
McSwain pointed to what he called illegal rule changes that allowed the state to count ballots that arrived up to three days after Election Day when the U.S. Constitution reserves the power to determine election rules to state legislatures.
“President Trump, you were right to be upset about the way the Democrats ran the 2020 election in Pennsylvania – it was a partisan disgrace. The Governor, the Secretary of the Commonwealth, and the partisan State Supreme Court made up their own rules and did not follow the law,” McSwain wrote.
McSwain added that the Democrat State Attorney General Josh Shapiro hinted that the election would not be fair to Trump by declaring days in advance of the election that Donald Trump could not win the state after all the votes were counted.
“Even worse, the State Attorney General, Josh Shapiro – the very person responsible for the enforcement of state election law – declared days before Election Day that you could not win the election. It would be hard to imagine a more irresponsible statement by a law enforcement officer, especially during a hotly contested election. In light of such statements, it is hardly surprising that many Pennsylvanians lack faith in our state’s election results,” McSwain stated.
But the most disturbing part of McSwain’s letter was his revelation that Attorney General Barr banned McSwain from making any public comments about allegations of voter fraud, and that McSwain had to turn any allegations of voter fraud over to the Commonwealth’s partisan Democrat Attorney General Josh Shapiro.
“On Election Day and afterwards, our Office received various allegations of voter fraud and election irregularities. As part of my responsibilities as U.S. Attorney, I wanted to be transparent with the public and, of course, investigate fully any allegations. Attorney General Barr, however, instructed me not to make any public statements or put out any press releases regarding possible election irregularities. I was also given a directive to pass along serious allegations to the State Attorney General for investigation – the same State Attorney General who had already declared that you could not win,” McSwain added.
