President Trump has had many good times, but also some bad times while in office.
In recent weeks, things have been looking up for the President.
But earlier this week that all changed after President Trump got the worst news of his life.
For Trump, being elected President was perhaps his biggest life achievement.
Despite the entire establishment saying it couldn’t be done, he was able to win with unprecedented numbers.
Now his next big challenge will be getting re-elected in 2020.
But some newly released news could make that impossible for him.
In recent weeks, Trump’s biggest challenger has emerged as former President Joe Biden.
And they have sparred back and forth, largely on Twitter since that came up.
Joe Biden even challenged President Trump to a fight, which President Trump stated was a bad idea, calling the former Vice President “weak.”
But a newly released poll shows the majority of the American people think Joe Biden could beat Trump both in a physical fight, and in the 2020 election.
The poll, conducted by Public Policy Polling, shows that 37% think that Biden would win in a fight, with 32% siding with Trump, and another 30% being unsure.
But the 2020 election poll was even worse for Trump.
The poll shows that 56% of respondents would vote for Biden, with 39% would vote for Trump, and another 6% being unsure.
As reported by Newsweek:
“Former vice president Joe Biden would come out on top in a fist fight against President Donald Trump—and the 2020 presidential election, a new poll suggests.
Thirty-seven percent of Americans think Biden would defeat Trump in a fist fight, while 32 percent of respondents would bet on the president. Another 30 percent were unsure of the theoretical fight’s outcome. The poll was released on Tuesday and conducted by left-leaning organization Public Policy Polling released on Tuesday.
The three-day national poll started on March 23, a couple days after Biden said that if he and Trump were still in high school, he would take Trump “behind the gym and beat the hell out of him.”
Trump the following day responded by tweeting, “Crazy Joe Biden is trying to act like a tough guy.”
“Actually, he is weak, both mentally and physically, and yet he threatens me, for the second time, with physical assault. He doesn’t know me, but he would go down fast and hard, crying all the way. Don’t threaten people Joe!” Trump tweeted.
On Friday, Biden said he shouldn’t have uttered those words, “Because I don’t want to get down in the mosh pit with this guy.”
The shots Biden and Trump fired at each other were viewed by some as a preview of the 2020 election. In that regard, Biden came out even stronger in the poll. Asked if the two men were candidates for president, 56 percent said they would vote for Biden, while only 39 percent would vote for Trump and 6 percent were not sure.
Biden did not run in 2016 due to the death of his son but has, on more than one occasion, said he “may very well” run against Trump in 2020.”
It is way too early to make any accurate speculation on the 2020 election, but this new information is still bad news for the President.
