Robert Mueller’s investigation is a witch hunt.
He is trying to take down the president in any way he can.
And in a shock move, Trump is sending Mueller one letter nobody saw coming.
Mueller Is Back
Robert Mueller is back in the public eye.
For months he has been working in quiet.
He didn’t want to appear as though he’s meddling in the midterm elections.
But now that the elections are over he’s back in full force.
He is making moves that he’s been avoiding.
Mueller has already indicted a conspiracy theorist with ties to Roger Stone.
And it is likely he is going after Stone as well.
But in the grand scheme of things, he’s a small fish.
Mueller’s real goal is to take down President Trump.
That is what has made him a hero to the anti-Trump resistance.
They have so little to attack Trump that they are relying on Mueller.
If Mueller can prove any sort of collusion with Russia occurred, they can claim Trump didn’t actually win.
That is a better alternative to what really happened.
Which is that the silent majority of Americans stood up to support Trump over Hillary Clinton.
And while Trump hasn’t given Mueller much, he is about to hand him a letter nobody saw coming.
Mueller’s Dream Meeting
There’s nothing Mueller wants more than to interview Trump.
It will give him the best chance possible to take down the president.
An interview under oath opens up a lot of possibilities.
The most obvious is that he can pursue the “perjury trap.”
This is how Mueller has gotten multiple people close to Trump.
Instead of finding a crime they committed, he can trick them into lying about something.
It doesn’t matter what the lie is, or if it was intentional.
Lying under oath is a crime.
For this reason, Trump hasn’t been granting Mueller an interview.
But for the first time, Trump is granting him one.
It is not in person, but it is a list of questions Trump will answer on paper.
Trump is filling it out now and will send them to Mueller in the coming days.
It is unclear what the questions are, but it seems that Trump is prepared to answer them.
In recent days he has met with his legal team, including his most well-known lawyer, Rudy Giuliani.
These questions are still important to Mueller.
Because he is still under oath in his answers.
So the perjury trap can still be used but will be much more difficult.
It is easier for somebody to misspeak, or misremember something during a long interview.
Mueller’s Final Days
With Trump finally answering questions for Mueller, it is clear his investigation is in its final days.
During the nearly two years it has been running, little has come from it.
A few people close to Trump have been charged with crimes.
But none related to Trump or Russia collusion.
