With his job as president, Donald Trump has a lot of serious responsibilities.
One of those is to make sure those in high-level government positions should really be in those positions.
And he just decided that the time for one deep state agent has passed, and dropped the hammer to obliterate him.
From Anti-Trump Texts To Unemployment
The tale of now former FBI agent Peter Strzok is one of love and hate.
As for love, he seemed to love his ladyfriend Lisa Page, who was a fellow FBI agent so much that he was willing to cheat on his wife with her.
And for hate, Strzok hated Donald Trump so much that he was willing to trash him as he was working on an investigation into his political opponent, Hillary Clinton.
It truly is a thrilling story, but to spoil it, it ends with President Donald Trump firing him just weeks after he made a fool of himself in front of the world while testifying before Congress.
The Beginning Of The End
Peter Strzok’s trouble began during the 2016 election.
While he was leading the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server, he was also sending extremely anti-Trump text messages to his extra-marital lover Lisa Page.
In those text messages, Strzok continually attacked Trump, and many times alluded to the fact that he was positive that Hillary Clinton would be elected president.
These kinds of messages being sent by the person placed in charge of the investigation into Hillary Clinton is a major conflict of interest.
Not only that, but it was a very bad look for the FBI who had been deflecting from claims made by Donald Trump that the FBI and the rest of the Justice Department are corrupt.
Fired By Mueller
While those text messages were largely sent during the 2016 election, it wasn’t until mid-2017 that the content of those messages came to light.
They were released to the public at the same time that Strzok was working on a new job where he was leading Robert Mueller’s investigation into possible collusion with Russia during the 2016 election.
In response to these text messages being released; Special Counsel Robert Mueller removed Strzok from the investigation, which could have been a good time for him to be completely fired, as he was unable to complete his job duties due to his bias.
So while Strzok was fired from his position at the FBI earlier this week, it wasn’t the first setback for him.
Canned By Trump
Peter Strzok was given the news that he has been dreading, but shouldn’t have been caught off guard by; the fact that he had been fired.
After the news came out, Trump supporters rejoiced as it was seen as a promising sign of justice returning to the Justice Department.
But those on the left were infuriated.
They felt that Peter Strzok was an American patriot for being willing to attack Trump and that he should remain in his position for that reason.
Strzok was even able to capitalize off of that support from liberals, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars to fund his retirement.
