Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s year is off to a horrible start.
The government is shut down due to his refusal to negotiate on Trump’s Wall.
And to make things worse, Trump just posted one picture that is leaving him red with rage.
President Trump has made his Twitter feed into a work of art.
He can talk directly to his supporters, along with his enemies.
And he constantly uses his favorite means of communication to infuriate the entire establishment.
One of his favorite ways to do that is through the use of “memes.”
Memes are images on the internet designed to go “viral,” usually using humor to do so.
In the lead-up to the 2016 election, memes were used to attract younger, more internet-savvy voters.
And since becoming President, he hasn’t slowed down.
Earlier this week Trump posted a meme on his Twitter page with the text “The Wall is Coming.”
The design mimics a similar theme from the television show Game of Thrones.

The meme quickly went viral with nearly 100,000 shares and many millions of views.
And while most people were enjoying the meme, Chuck Schumer was infuriated.
Responding to Trump’s tweet, Schumer said:
“Enough with the memes. Just quit hurting innocent people and re-open the government.”
Schumer clearly isn’t in the mood for joking, and for good reason.
He is dealing with the negotiation of his career and is losing badly.
President Trump is refusing to give in to demands from Democrats to reopen the government.
He is keeping the government shut down until he gains necessary funding for a wall on the border.
The President is simply asking for $5 billion in wall funding.
Considering that illegal immigration costs U.S. taxpayers upwards of $200 billion a year that is a small cost to pay.
Not to mention the fact that securing the country is the most important job of the U.S. government.
A country isn’t complete without having defined borders, and some sort of solid barrier to secure those borders.
But for many years, government officials have been putting off implementing any real border security.
Instead, they are allowing illegal immigrants to flood over the border in historic numbers.
Once inside, they commit violent crimes, putting U.S. citizens at risk.
All of this can be stopped if simple steps are taken to secure the border.
And a wall is an important step that can be easily achieved.
Israel is dealing with a much closer threat than the U.S. is, and they have a wall on their border.
That wall is a major part of keeping their country safe from invaders who are constantly trying to enter their country.
It is such a common-sense solution that it shouldn’t require a government shutdown to happen.
The American people support Trump in the numbers they do because of his bold stands on issues that are important to them.
And the wall is his biggest issue.
Do you think Trump will be able to build a wall on the border?
