Adam Schiff and the rest of the Democrats thought their witch hunt was a slam dunk.
Little did they know.
Now Donald Trump just scored a win that will leave impeachment out of the question.
Donald Trump fights day and night to make this country great, and to fulfill his campaign promises to the American people.
The President has already cleaned up the mess left from Barack Obama’s administration, and strengthened the country’s economy to the strongest it’s ever been.
And now, President Trump just scored another major victory.
One of Trump’s major campaign promises was to crack down on security at the border and to stop dangerous illegal immigration.
He has already made good on his promise to start building a wall and to increase security at the border.
And a new GOP-sponsored bill will further the crackdown on dangerous illegal immigration.
Senator Tom Cotton (R-AK) introduced a bill early Wednesday morning designed to target dangerous Mexican cartels and drug lords.
The bill is specially designed to place certain criminal organizations, such as these drug cartels, into the same category as terrorist organizations.
This plan was first introduced by President Trump in early November as a plan to categorize dangerous organizations and cartels as Foreign Terrorist Organizations.
Senator Cotton took to Fox News to speak about the bill.
“Criminal organizations and drug cartels like the one responsible for last month’s attack in Mexico ought to be treated just like terrorist groups in the eyes of the U.S. government,” said Cotton, referencing last month’s tragic attack on a Mormon group that resulted in the death of nine US citizens.
“This bill would help stop cartel violence by ensuring these groups, and anyone who helps them, face dire consequences for their actions,” he added.
The bill, aptly named the Significant Transnational Criminal Organization Designation Act, is an amendment to the Immigration and Nationality Act.
This bill will allow the federal government to label dangerous foreign groups as foreign terrorist organizations and will allow them to place the same sanctions on these groups as any other terrorist group including prohibiting members of these organizations and their families’ admission to the states, freezing group assets, and placing civil and criminal penalties on any group willing to help these organizations.
Several GOP senators have already come forward to back this bill, including Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee, John Cornyn of Texas, Ted Cruz of Texas, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, Josh Hawley of Missouri, David Perdue of Georgia, Mitt Romney of Utah and Ben Sasse of Nebraska.
This new bill is a huge step forward in the fight against illegal immigration, foreign terrorist organizations, and the war on drugs.
This comes at a time where the drug epidemic in America is a growing concern, with more and more overdoses happening every day.
Donald Trump continues to move our country forward every day and will continue to do so for as long as he is in office.
