During the 2016 Presidential election, the media treated Trump extremely unfairly.
Now that the election is over, the media is hoping he forgets about that.
But Trump definitely hasn’t and just proved it after shutting a reporter up with just two words.
While taking questions from reporters at the White House, President Trump is known for saying what’s on his mind.
And sometimes when he gets questions that he doesn’t like, he makes it clear.
An ABC News correspondent learned that first-hand today.
Jonathan Karl used his latest question for Trump to ask about his personal attorney Michael Cohen, and whether or not he would consider a pardon for him.
Trump has made his disapproval with the way Cohen has been treated well known, and any cursory review of his Twitter account would make that known.
But even with that being true, a pardon isn’t something that he would discuss with the media.
So in response to the question, Trump quickly responded “stupid question,” which immediately shut up the reporter.
As reported by The Daily Caller:
“President Donald Trump dressed down ABC News White House correspondent Jonathan Karl for asking if he’d consider a pardon for his personal attorney Michael Cohen.
“Stupid question,” Trump declared after Karl asked, “Mr. President, what about Michael Cohen? Are you considering pardoning Michael Cohen?”
Cohen has been embroiled in legal problems after special counsel Robert Mueller referred some information uncovered in his probe to the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York. Cohen’s office and personal residence were then raided by the FBI prompting an angry retaliation from President Donald Trump.
Trump has especially criticized both Mueller and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein for signing off on the raid and allowing Mueller to refer the information to the U.S. attorney. Trump has also decried the probe as a breach of attorney-client privilege.
“Attorney-client privilege is dead,” the president has said repeatedly since the raid.”
There were many reasonable questions that could have been asked about Cohen that the reporter didn’t take.
But instead he asked the one question that he surely knew he wouldn’t get an answer to.
If he wanted to know Trump’s opinion on the situation relating with Michael Cohen, he could have taken a cursory glance at the President’s Twitter page.
In a series of tweets, President Trump made his displeasure with the recent raid on Michael Cohen’s home and office well known.
Attorney–client privilege is dead!

But the media is more interested in “gotcha” questions for the President.
They have been more unfair to him than perhaps any President in history.
Instead of giving him a chance to do what he promised he would, they have criticized every little thing they could find.
Do you think President Trump is doing a good job, despite the constant media attacks?
