President Trump’s biggest campaign promise is to build a wall on the Southern Border.
Democrats are doing everything in their power to make sure that doesn’t happen.
But Trump just sent one epic command that will build his wall.
Securing the country is the most important job of the U.S. government.
But for many years, government officials have been ignoring that duty.
Instead, they are allowing illegal immigrants to flood over the border in historic numbers.
Once inside, they commit violent crimes, putting U.S. citizens at risk.
All of this can be stopped if simple steps are taken to secure the border.
A huge step towards national security is building a wall on the border.
Israel has a wall separating them from violent forces surrounding them, and it works very well.
But Democrats claim that the same won’t work in the United States.
They claim that it’s too costly, and won’t actually do much to secure the border.
But when the costs of illegal immigration are taken into account, that simply isn’t true.
Illegal immigration costs the U.S. taxpayers more than $200 billion a year, as Trump pointed out in a recent tweet:
“Illegal immigration costs the United States more than 200 Billion Dollars a year. How was this allowed to happen?”
These come largely from the generous welfare programs given to illegal immigrants in the U.S.
Building a wall on the border is much cheaper than the costs of illegal immigration.
That’s why Trump is working overtime to make sure the wall gains the funding it needs.
In the end of year budget bill, Trump has been calling for wall funding.
The initial bill, that could have easily been implemented, didn’t include wall funding.
Instead, there was limited border security funding, something that Trump isn’t interested in.
So he made a last-minute demand for wall funding in the bill, mandating at least $5 billion.
The new bill passed through the House, now sitting in the Senate.
But because it includes necessary funding to keep the government fully operational, the government is now in a partial shutdown.
The only way to fully re-open the government is by passing a spending bill.
And Trump will only support a funding bill that includes funding for a wall.
Talking to the press on Christmas day, he made that very clear, saying:
“I can’t tell you when the government is going to reopen … [Not until] we have a wall, a fence, whatever they’d like to call it. I’ll call it whatever they want. But it’s all the same thing. It’s a barrier from people pouring into our country.”
This is a bold stand that is what our country needs to build a wall on the border.
It is such a common sense solution that it shouldn’t come to this.
The American people support Trump in the numbers they do because of his bold stands on issues that are important to them.
And the wall is his biggest issue.
Do you think Trump will be able to build a wall on the border?
