There is nobody more fit to serve as Trump’s attorney against Robert Mueller than Rudy Giuliani.
He is tough as nails and willing to defend the president at all costs.
And he just came up with a crazy move to take down Mueller for good.
Robert Mueller is working overtime to take down President Trump.
He is trying to find any sort of evidence to hurt the President directly.
And he’s also working to feed the media’s narrative that Trump’s administration is corrupt.
That narrative is fed through indictments and convictions of past and present Trump officials and associates.
It doesn’t matter if what Mueller finds has to do with Russia collusion, as long as the media can spin it as a win for Mueller.
But one thing that Mueller is working to avoid is any bit of information showing his wrongdoings coming to light.
His investigation is far from being up to par, and free of bias.
After all, it all began using information found in a Democrat-funded dossier compiled by a former British Spy.
And in the early days, officials with clear biases against the president were at the forefront of the investigation.
Former FBI Agent Peter Strzok is the most well-known anti-Trump official involved.
Strzok was highly involved in the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails and quickly found that she did nothing wrong.
But during his time investigating Trump, everything was different.
It is Strzok who was removed from his position in the FBI after being found to have sent anti-Trump text messages to his extra-marital lover, and fellow agent, Lisa Page.
The text messages show a clear bias against Trump, and in favor of Hillary Clinton.
It was enough for him to be removed from the FBI.
But the messages released don’t show the entire story.
Many of the text messages were erased, and it is believed Mueller was involved in erasing them.
That’s why Trump’s lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, wants Mueller to face investigation.
Talking to The Hill, Giuliani said:
“Mueller should be investigated for destruction of evidence for allowing those text messages from [Peter] Strzok to be erased, messages that would show the state of mind and tactics of his lead anti-Trump FBI agents at the start of the probe.”
In such a politically charged investigation, it is important to know the mindset of those running things.
Despite no longer being in the investigation, Strzok is still very relevant.
He was a major player in the early days of the investigation, which is when the investigation began shifting into the witch hunt it is today.
At the start of the investigation, President Trump was welcoming of it.
It could be a good opportunity for the truth to come out, and for Trump to clear his name.
But much like the mainstream media, there is no chance Trump will ever get a fair shake from Mueller or anybody in the FBI.
Proving the anti-Trump bias in the FBI is important, and finding the truth about the erased messages from Strzok is vital to do that.
